What are you streaming tonight?

As we are in the modern age of music I thought I would see how this fares.
We have threads specific for cdp and tt so why not streaming as it is a modern media.
I don't care if you stream Tidal, Deezer, Spotify, Paradise Radio or any number of internet stations.
I would like you to share your tastes and method of streaming.

@uberwaltz you don’t need a separate program for that. Spotify allows you to save certain playlists offline. The limit is not infinite but it’s fairly high. I have about 20,000 of my favourite songs on my phone in high resolution (320 kbps) which is very decent sounding with my headphones on the go.
Young Marble Giants - Colossal Youth (40th Anniversary Edition)

Qobuz

Exactly the kind of stuff I was listening to in 1980.   How did I miss this?
@16f4 I listened to that Young Marble Giants release earlier today. I never heard of them either. That was pretty cool stuff.

Dolly Parton - A Holly Dolly Christmas

Qobuz

A very nice Christmas album, almost a throwback to those albums of the 1950s and 1960s.  Some songs are  traditional, some new, some covers.  Only one complaint: she sang the wrong version of “All I Want For Christmas Is You”.
Qobuz has a new playlist that they featured on there newsletter on Friday- Essential Debut Albums:Rock.  An eclectic selection of first album hits.
Yosin Horikawa - Vapor

Qobuz

Someone recommended listening to this on acid. I didn’t, but it’s pretty cool anyway.
Tom Oren "Dorly’s Song"

Qobuz (24/96)

Giving this album another listen. Oren is a talented pianist who won the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz International Piano Competition in 2018.
Tom Oren - Dorly’s Song

Qobuz Hi-Res

melvinjames, thanks for the recommendation!   Nice album!
George Winston - December

Qobuz

Holiday tradition.  Sounds good streaming on Qobuz.
Diane Krall - This Dream Of You

Vince Guaraldi Trio - A Charlie Brown Christmas

Qobuz Hi-Res
I love this time of year!  Not just for permission to listen to unapologetically upbeat Christmas music (lord knows we all need that now), but many critics release their “Best Of The Year” lists.    The New York Times posted theirs this morning, and I will be able to stream many of the ones I missed.
Some newish Jazz I missed  that made the NYT Best of 2020 list:

Jyoti - Mama, You Can Bet!

Qobuz

Immanuel Wilkins - Omega

Qobuz Hi-Res
mgrif104

That is a wonderful album.  I stumbled across the LP in a thrift store and fell in love with her voice.
Out of Fiio X7II and Moto G7 Power

Qobuz for Hi Rez into home setup

Amazon HD because big prime member...might drop at next annual (Qobuz)
Spotify Free for car and bluetooth speaks... because that's all you really need for those environments.

BTW....Soundiiz works pretty good for transferring playlists between services

Oliver Nelson "The Blues and the Abstract Truth"

A stellar cast .. Paul Chambers, Eric Dolphy, Bill Evans, Roy Haynes, and Freddie Hubbard.

Qobuz (24/96)

Oddly enough, some of C418's MInecraft soundtrack. Immaculately produced.
Sigur Rós - Odin's Raven Magic, Qobuz Hi-Res.  I've heard of them, but never listened before.  Pretty cool stuff.
Late Night Tales: Khruangbin, Qobuz

Apparently this is part of a series where artists pick their favorite music.
Miles Davis - The Birth of Cool

Miles Davis Quintet - Cookin’

Qobuz Hi-Res

Streamed my Spotify Discover Weekly playlist tonight. A day late for me. I usually try to play it when it comes out every Monday. Only a couple of winners this week...
