What are you streaming tonight?

As we are in the modern age of music I thought I would see how this fares.
We have threads specific for cdp and tt so why not streaming as it is a modern media.
I don't care if you stream Tidal, Deezer, Spotify, Paradise Radio or any number of internet stations.
I would like you to share your tastes and method of streaming.

Well, that was different ("Stonehouse" was a standout). Moving on ..

Willis Jackson with Pat Martino

Qobuz
Stanley Clarke’s original motion picture soundtrack for "Halston" on Qobuz. My god, there is some audiophile ear candy on this record; and it will give your subwoofer a chance to show that it’s working!

An eclectic mix of styles, from straight jazz to dance to ambient to funk, but really interesting - and beautifully produced.

Streamed a few good ones from the playlist I've created from choice songs delivered via my Spotify Discover Weekly feed. I listen to my Spotify Discover Weekly playlist every week and I save any great finds in a playlist that I call "discovered".

From my "discovered" playlist:

The Kinks - "Living on a Thin Line"
The Monroes - "What Do All the People Know"
The Rave-Ups - "Positively Lost Me"
Matthew Sweet - "Sick of Myself"
The Damned - "Alone Again Or"

And finally........

The Zombies - "This Will Be Our Year"
And Happy New Year to our wayward OP - @uberwaltz  - Kevin, I hope you're out there, listening to great music and occasionally looking-in to see how your post is progressing.

Happy New Year Buddy.........
Stanley Clarke - Halston original motion picture soundtrack

 Qobuz Hi-Res

ZM thanks for the heads up.  Lovely album!
Sugar Creek - Please Tell A Friend

I digitized a significant portion of my vinyl collection using Wave Repair over the years.  Finally figured out how to play the files through my PowerNode ...
This has been a hell a week.  The contractor has been in a frenzy to finish repairs to my house by January 1 (we got hit by a tornado back in August...I know, sooo 2020!).  Both my parents, my brother, his wife, both her adult children and their spouses all tested positive for COVID on Christmas Eve.  Finally settling down for some serious music listening to compose myself, and FEDEX delivers my new Zu Dirty Weekends.  Things are looking up for 2021.

Testing out the new speakers (and Zu Mission cables), so my listening is going to be really eclectic

Sarah Vaughan - Sarah Vaughan at Mr Kelly’s

Air - Moon Safari

Dave Brubeck - Time Out

White Stripes - Seven Nation Army

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Hear

Walter Hawkins - Love Alive II
A little of this and a little of that. I just picked up a pair of old Klipsch Quartet speakers and am giving them a workout.
Sonkei by the Ronin Arkestra on Qobuz.

A Tokyo-based Japanese jazz collective... "futuristic beat-based music with echoes of ’60s spiritual jazz and ’70s fusion"

Sounds great!

Radio Bossa Jazz Brasil - A Brazilian internet radio/streaming channel.   Burning in the new speakers.
@16f4 what speakers did you get?  I'm listening to one of Tidal's "My Mix" stations, not many new releases on streaming services the last couple of weeks.

Zu Dirty Weekends, black satin finish, Clarity cap upgrades, Pro rubber feet.
Paolo Fresu: Alma. Qobuz.

(on my new Focal Clear headphones connected to RME ADI-2 DAC).
Great music, wonderful sound.
@16f4 I was looking at Zu Omens for a while, but ended up going in another direction.  How are you liking them so far?
Santana - Abraxas, DSD files from the hard drive.  Just picked up a new (to me) DAC and giving it a workout.

I liked them right out of the box.  Compared to the ELAC Debut 6.2s they’re replacing they have more detail and better soundstage.  Can’t wait until they acclimatize and finish their burn in period. I should have some fun placing them.
Gene Ammons "Boss Tenor"

This album was mentioned in the Late Night Jazz thread. Excellent. Qobuz (24/44.1)
Stereolab / Emperor Tomato Ketchup

(via Qobuz/Roon through a bel canto network streamer)

@big_greg

Congrats on the new DAC.  What did you get?
@trentmemphis I picked up an Aqua La Voce S3 DAC. I listened to it for an hour or so this morning, sounds pretty good! I have to say though, it made me realize how good the schitt bifrost 2 that it's replacing sounded. The S3 seems to have more energy and dynamics and a little more detail.
@16f4 I scored a pair of Klipsch Quartets in good condition last weekend. I think they are going to scratch my itch for some high-efficiency speakers for a while.
@16f4 I've been listening to them in my main system the last few days and they are really fun.  They aren't going to kick my KEF Reference 1's to the curb, but they sound really good and really rock!
Morphine - Cure For Pain

personal library

Got my rubber feet for my Zu DWs in the mail today, and am continuing to break them in and working on placement.
Listening to my Spotify Discover Weekly while performing my PT regime and my cycling workout. It's heck getting old....
Nesrine - “Nesrine” on Qobuz. Franco-Algerian singer, cellist and songwriter Nesrine Belmokh.

There is a fun cover of Can’s “Vitamin C” on this album, worth checking out.
