Upgraded or lateral streamer move with YouTube connectivity

Hello all,

Thanks in advance for your help

My wife is awesome and supports all my HiFi interests, but tends to not use my system. This is mostly because she listens to a lot of esoteric music commonly only found on You Tube. I currently have an Innuos Zen using Sense. Previously, I used it with Roon, which I still have a lifelong license for. Is there any high quality streamer that will allow me to stream YouTube?  Would like to stay in the same SQ quality.

Thanks again

@soix

I would spend money on a good streamer to get Bluetooth compatibility while maintaining SQ for when I listen to my HiRes sources  😊

I was unaware of the ability to Bluetooth to my Innuos. That would definitely be easiest. I will have to look into that once I get home from my vacation. Do either of you know if this is a definite option?

Can't you just transmit Bluetooth to your Innous? You could certainly listen to Youtube through your streamer that way.

YouTube is a low-res source so I definitely wouldn’t waste $$$ on a good streamer for that purpose, so as mentioned above either Bluetooth or AirPlay should be fine.

I am a very lucky guy :-)

I use android, but will definitely look for an Apple device to AirPlay through.

Thanks to both of you!

If using Apple devices to view YouTube, you should be able to use AirPlay with your existing Zen. See here

Buy a BT audio adapter and set her up with a tablet to view / play. You Tube.   You could also do a Toslink if possible to a DAC from a TV.     Where YT is really in the Video domain it's probably a lot easier to use as such.

You're a lucky guy...    if she is OK with your audio pursuits you need to find an easy way for her to enjoy too
