You will get huge upgrades by upgrading your HDMI, LAN and power cables.
Quality HDMI and LAN (CAT 8) have good shielding, reduces RFI/EMI, better picture better sound.
These NEO D+ cables are fantastic, don't be fooled by their cheap price:
@moneoone You will get richer and more natural colours. The biggest improvement was using a NEO d+ power cable for my TV. It’s important you use cables designed for video. I use Furutech CAT 8 Lan and Furutech 8k HDMI. These also improve the picture but they also help my sound system by insulating it from interference from cheap Lan and HDMI cables. It’s surprised me how much RFI/EMI they create. The differences for picture and sound quality are not subtle. |
+1 what @lordmelton says - all cables are important! I uprgaded the power cables on my TV’s for richer colours, more shadow details and much better sound

I’m looking forward to trying a new Blue Jeans HDMI cable I just ordered https://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/hdmi-cables/hdmi-cablemob.htm |
@moneoone - Take a look at the Zavfino cables - they used advanced cable geometry, UP-OCC copper and silver and very good insulation. They are a little more expensive than other brands, but they do provide best bang for the buck They would improve on the dynamcis of the audio and should display great colours and shadow details Regards - Steve |
Just plugged in a Blue Jeans BJC Series-FE HDMI Cable and couldn’t be more pleased. Improved contrast, richer colors and just overall better definition & depth. The 3’ cable was only $22 delivered FedEx 2nd day envelope. Much preferred over my AQ Carbon with nextel type connector finishes that have turned to gum. |
The review compares two cables cheap at 5 pounds and expensive at 79 or 130 pounds. There are two basic problems with this kind of review. First, the reviewer does not mention what cables are used in the test and second, one can argue that 130 pounds is not an expensive cable what about a cable for 1000 pounds. Would you see a difference there who knows? The test would have much more value if the reviewer tested the most expensive cable available for example, but the results could not be generalized anyway. The only conclusion that the reviewer can draw is that the cable X for 79 pounds and cable Y for 130 pounds does not make a difference in the test performed compared to cable Z for 5 pounds. That is it. It is definitely not an expert review. |
