Take that to good will

What is it with all these old junk amplifier listed on these sites for more than $3k all time. Take that pile of rust and fire wire to the good will or if you can pay $20, take to dump.  Who buy this old crap is to get back to being little kid again?  Take that box of static electrify back to the future old man gear and burn rubber boy.

And while you're at it throw out all of that outdated tube stuff with it along with the vinyl and CDs.

@roxy54 --robelvick was just re-doing the OP's post backwards.  I'm with the group that wants to know what the point is ?

But you’ve got to admit, some of the prices people are asking for their rusty gold is pretty ridiculous. It puts greed in the mind of otherwise sane people.

A co worker started gabbing with me about his Dynaco amp. How he carried it home from the store on the bus after proudly making his first purchase, back in the 70’s. He kept going on and on about it over a couple of conversations, and finally I realized he was probably seeing if I was interested in it.

He mentioned that he found it, yup, it was still in the garage and wasn’t rusty at all. I asked him if he had fired it up. He said no! He wasn’t sure what he should do with it, he wanted to stick to digital music, yada yada. Gee dude, maybe you should put it in craigslist instead of hassling your co workers about it!
I couldn’t believe it, he hadn’t even turned it on...
robelvick,
Not one word of your post makes sense. What, if anything are you trying to say?
Boy, rubber burn and gear man!  Old future the to back electrify static of box that take again?  Kid little being to back, get to is crap.  Old this buy who dump? To take $20 pay, can you if or will good the to wire?  Fire and rust of pile that take time.  All $3k than more for sites.  These on listed amplifier junk.  Old these all with it is what?

+1 jerbeast...I love Goodwill. I found a pair of Snell JIVs in perfect condition, except for the surrounds, for $15. Let's not criticize people for their English skills. Unless you know otherwise, the OP might not be a native English speaker. If that's the case, it's probably likely that he speaks and writes your language better than you can speak or write his native language. Give people credit for trying. I don't have a problem with his writing. I have a problem with his ranting for some indiscernible reason.
Except for a 8.5~9 Garrard Z-100 @ Goodwill for 20$ (with a Shure cart and a useable stylus), I've had good results @ the local Habitat....

Sometimes, some gotta vent somewhere....*shrug*

At least it's not all caps....
Take a remedial English writing class. Unfortunately, the U.S. school system has been on the decline for many years.
"What's the OP's point?"

Goodwill is to become a vintage audiophile's wet dream.
Collecting old junk that should be in the bin... I can't help but think your talking to me; have you met my wife?
Stupid post. Why don't you do what you want to do and let others do the same. The buyer will decide the value of the "junk". You should also learn to spell.
And the point is? As I rub on the Bengay. :-)

When you make the big jump, from WATTs to Kilowatts.. LOL

Regards
Hey, now! What happened to all your manliness? Tube amps are known for their weight, which only real men can throw around like so many plates at the gym! I would think you want a mongo tube amp with huge transformers, so that you can impress your wife by picking it up and rearranging the room.

So what if it heats the room like a space heater? So what if it costs thousands in tube replacement over the life of the amp? It's the bulk that counts!

Magnepan speakers are not heavy enough to show one's superior manliness, and so it is necessary to buy very heavy tube amps to impress the wife!  ;)
