In Search Of... Desktop All-In-One

I am looking to finish-off my office with some quality audio. This would be a nearfield/computer audio type of situation. I already have the (passive) speakers and (active) sub.
It seems compact/mini/desktop components are hard to come by. So far I've found the below:
https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-dta-pro-100w-class-d-bluetooth-amplifier-with-usb-dac-ir-...

This just about suits my needs, though I was hoping someone might have an idea of where to find a more "refined" product, as reviews of this are a tad dodgy. This is definitely a <$1000USD purchase. I was aiming for more around $500, but will go where the product is.

This Marantz looks enticing, with the addition of Streaming, FM and CD. But is has no inboard USB DAC. I know, I know, but I'm seeing if this can all be done in one component.

Must Haves:
  • Desktop/Compact design
  • Single Component
  • Two Channel Amp
  • Sub/Pre Out
  • Headphone Out
  • USB DAC In
  • Line In
  • BT In
Would Like to Haves:
  • CD
  • FM/Terrestrial
  • Streaming Support
  • Knob(s)
Thanks in advance for any/all advice. I've been looking high and low, and perhaps my cyberspace sleuthing isn't quite what it used to be.

Cheers!

Stretch to $999 and get Marantz pm7000n. Best all in one under $1k with streaming. Class A/B power. Streaming built in, wired or wireless.

I own one for office use and am happy. The improvement I gained over my previous class D Bluesound Powernode 2 was significant.
I like that! One deal-breaker is that it isn't 'compact/desktop'. Space is of an utmost premium. An inboard USB DAC is also lacking.
Not compact? Add an outboard DAC!
That was for the thread above. Yes, the Denon size is perfect. As for the DAC, a guy was hoping to get all of this in one, single box. Just trying to cut-down on clutter and power supplies.
@brian_stabinger

Full disclosure: I have never bought anything from them, but they have been super nice on email and phone, have a 30 day trial period which includes shipping both ways, and allow trade-in and trade-up for some (not all) gear. I don't think there is any risk for the situation you describe in trying them. They'd be much easier to deal with down the road then something bought via Best Buy.
+1 Sprout100 — probably your best all-around option. NuPrime IDA-6 is really nice and on sale for $349 but lacks some features you’re looking for. Peachtree may also be worth a look. If you’re open to used, you might find a Bel Canto C5i or Schiit Ragnarok V1 that would likely be a step up in overall quality. Best of luck.
I would go with kren0006 suggestion . If it is for your office you will be more then satisfied. Going the parts express route will only distract you from getting your work done. Don;t get me wrong those products are good introductions but you are going to want to move up a notch.
Since the resale on the PE is not stellar you will spend the money any way.
+1 Sprout100. BlueSound PowerNode 2i would work too except it doesn’t have a knob. But I like PS Audio and their equipment a lot. That Sprout is a great option.
The Sprout hits all of your wants except.BT. You can plug in a BT receiver for $25 if you want.
Streaming is more complicated. It depends on what you want to stream.
BluNode will do almost all but you're paying for a cheap DAC in $$ and size. An Allo Rasberry Pi is smaller, cheaper and a lot more effort. Plus you'll have to obtain a player, possibly subscription, which the 2i includes.
BTW that Sprout review was of the old $500 model. The current one is beefier with a sub out. It'll be 20% off Thanksgiving week.
I have the Marantz unit in my office. Great. Doesn’t miss a beat, I run with a pair of B&W bookshelf speakers. I don’t miss the dac with the streaming capabilities etc. for a down and dirty, very nice sounding, simple unit all in for less than 1k, it’s tough to beat.
It is not cheap, but it is a unit that has everything you want, it is ultra flexible and sounds great.  I have used this unit for more than a year now.

you could add this to any of the many suggested with out the mic input.

First-off, a big Thank You to all that replied to this thread. This has been a fun journey (so far)!

Understandably multiple boxes would allow for more flexibility, and perhaps that is where we'll arrive. The one-box option is still my hope.

So far the Sprout (thanks for the tip, @fuzztone !!!) , NAD and TEAC. But an FM tuner would be really nice. Any idea where to source TEAC, in the USA?
"But an FM tuner would be really nice. Any idea where to source TEAC, in the USA?"

The Teac is at both Crutchfield and Amazon.

The Denon mentioned above has a tuner but you'll need a Toslink cable to connect to your computer as its USB input is for mass storage only.

Good luck!
Current Sprout100 does have Bluetooth.  I own one, it's fine, but for my tastes, it's really lean.  Now that could be my speakers, a set of Dynaco A25's.  I have some Triangles on order, if they don't improve the sound I will be selling the Sprout.
@rumblestrip -- interesting about the Sprout being "lean" in sound. I do wonder whether any other compact, integrated, solid state option could really vary that much from the Sprout in tonal character. It would seem that one would have to introduce another box (DAC, e.g.) to really affect that. But that violates the OP's one-box rule.
I am using Sprout 100 + KEF Q150 for my office area. I used to use my old Sony Portable CD Player with mini digital out as a CD source, but since then upgraded to Pro-Ject CD box S2 which is one of the smallest CD player/transport I can find.
I'm extremely happy with my powered Wharfedale DS-2 loudspeakers. Great imaging, despite being three feet away from me. Connected directly to Mac. They have Bluetooth, but I never use it.
The Teac is at both Crutchfield and Amazon.

Checking-in after the weekend. Thanks for all the responses. From an I/O, and size/build perspective, it seems like the Teac AI-301DA rightly fits the bill. The only Teac product I found on Crutch is a turntable, and it’s slim pickings on Amazon. These are available in Ebay, shipping from Japan. Is there anything dodgy about ordering via the latter, in regards to purchasing/shipping/use in the USA?

All things being equal, I'd prefer to order this from within the States, and/or at a brick-and-mortar shop.
Regarding FM I have a Raspberry Pi at home as a streamer and I noticed there were a lot of digital radio channels available. I use the Volumio software. You could combine this with the Sprout or some other amp. Maybe this could be enough?

Also a RPi is very, very small and easy to hide behind some other gear to not clutter your desk. You can keep it on all the time.
