“Oooh oooh shaved beaver, I think you can get me through the night”.

The title was "borrowed" from Paramahansa Yogananda, whose spiritual classic "Autobiography of a Yogi" also inspired the likes of Rodger Hodgson ("Babaji") , G. Harrison (the cover of Sgt. Pepper’s includes images of Yogananda and two other yoga masters in that lineage) and Santana (the quote on the inside cover of Caravanserai is from Yogananda).

Spooky Tooth and the Dream Weaver a part of the past that will be forever gone, RIP Gary.

He died from Parkinsons with Lewy Body Dementia.  My mom died of the same combo.  An awful sickness.  RIP, Gary.

Sorry to hear that.,I just listened up loud to “ Love Is Alive” two nights ago., Really fun if you’ve got a system that has real power in the bottom end. Scary w/ the lights out.

“Oooh oooh shaved beaver, I think you can get me through the night”. We used to ad lib that song. Take her easy Gary.

RIP Gary...  Dream Weaver was one of my favorite songs growing up. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿

I, too, am a Spooky Tooth fan. Gary was an exceptional musician and song writer. My prejudice against repetitive album rock FM and top 40 is the only reason I don't have his solo work (and DSOTM). I will fix the hole in my collection. And, tonight will be a Spooky Tooth night. Is Wonderwheel out there?

I'm sorry to hear that - I first got into Gary when he was in Spooky Tooth....
