I'm sorry to hear that - I first got into Gary when he was in Spooky Tooth....ย

I, too, am a Spooky Tooth fan. Gary was an exceptional musician and song writer. My prejudice against repetitive album rock FM and top 40 is the only reason I don't have his solo work (and DSOTM). I will fix the hole in my collection. And, tonight will be a Spooky Tooth night. Is Wonderwheel out there?

RIP Gary...ย  Dream Weaver was one of my favorite songs growing up. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฟ

โ€œOooh oooh shaved beaver, I think you can get me through the nightโ€. We used to ad lib that song. Take her easy Gary.ย

Sorry to hear that.,I just listened up loud to โ€œ Love Is Aliveโ€ two nights ago., Really fun if youโ€™ve got a system that has real power in the bottom end. Scary w/ the lights out.

He died from Parkinsons with Lewy Body Dementia.ย  My mom died of the same combo.ย  An awful sickness.ย  RIP, Gary.

Spooky Tooth and the Dream Weaver a part of the past that will be forever gone, RIP Gary.

The title was "borrowed" from Paramahansa Yogananda, whose spiritual classic "Autobiography of a Yogi" also inspired the likes of Rodger Hodgson ("Babaji") , G. Harrison (the cover of Sgt. Pepperโ€™s includes images of Yogananda and two other yoga masters in that lineage) and Santana (the quote on the inside cover of Caravanserai is from Yogananda).
