Fyne Speakers now in the USA

Their web site does not list any American dealers yet. The F1-12 is a very intriguing loudspeaker and looks very nicely made. It should image beautifully. They are also no joke costing something like $30,000/pr.
For high efficiency point source people this could be the ultimate speaker.

Hi guys - we do indeed have the Fyne Audio Speakers.   I’ve posted a few videos on YouTube as well.  We have the F702’s, with the F1-12’s and F502SP’s on the way.  They are high efficient and super easy to drive.   We are enjoying them today with a Pass INT-25.

Mike can you explain what the dials are at the bottom of the F-12 and F-10. Is it to control the bass? Looking at the specs they seem to be a nice partner w/tubes. Have you tried these speakers any tube gear??

With free shipping and their low priceyou might as well just order them. Not much to lose.

The dials on the F1 series have to do with presence and HF.  Fyne audio says about the controls:

”The F1-10 and F1-12 have high quality potentiometer controls for HF energy and presence ensure the F1-10 will deliver optimum performance irrespective of room size or placement.”

Also, please note there are two standmounts coming in the F1 series.

Luxmancl35, the presence control is a notch filter centered on about 3 kHz turning it down will damped sibilance. 
Just a stones throw. I've never been in that store. I frequent Fidelis in Nashua on occasion. I have an idea. You buy the Fyne F1-12s so I can hear them:)

I heard the Fyne speakers at AXPONA this year in the Cary Audio room.  They had a little Cary SLI-80 using 40 watts in triode through Fyne's top-of-the-line (I believe) speakers and the sound was very good.  I don't know what their lower end products sound like.

30k for a 2 way? Curious if anyone has compared to other British speakers like Harbeth 40.2 or B&W 800D3.

will you/do you also carry the F302 and F502’s? I’ve seen rave reviews for even the lower line of FYNE audio speakers. Wondering how they would compare to Tekton Lore Reference.

Gene here from Gene Rubin Audio in California. I have several of the lesser expensive Fyne Audio speakers here now. I really like them a lot. Excellent value. I'm rather fond of the F500 and F501.

Purchase the Fyne 500 stand mount speakers in Walnut , There very well made and looks like a mini sub woofer .Takes time to break in and set there best position and do not toe them in and give them room. I have a 10 dollar receiver pushing them and sounds fine. Once I buy a better amp I can really rate them. They have very 3 dimensional and clean sounding you can hear every instrument and voice being played . The base is a little lean as stated . The 501 will do it all and looks like a museum piece , for the asking retail price can not go wrong

I think any certifiable audio geek would OF COURSE drive from NH to Florida without hesitation to audition a speaker...what is this world coming to? Man up!

Would be nice if the guys at Suncoast would respond to pricing on these speakers. Funny, got an email from a salesman there who wasn’t sure on the pricing..... then nothing. Probably not a good way to sell a new line of speakers here in the U.S.

We have responded to every request for pricing.   There isn’t a “salesman” who doesn’t know the pricing.  I’m the owner and we all know the pricing.  The MANUFACTURER/DISTRIBUTOR PROHIBITS posting pricing online.  This is not all that uncommon.  Feel free to call me and I will give you the pricing over the phone.  My number is on our website.

This month the Absolute Sound reviewed the Fyne F501. Said the $1750 speaker gave a performance close to a 10K speaker. Very positive review. 

Id really Like to hear a couple of the lower end models.  Curious if you can get some of the dual concentric application at a lower price and made in the first world...

I have the Fyne 500 series speaker , Very nice sounding build quality is one of best I have seen for the money. I have played them threw tube and S.S. amps with all excellent results . The music is full ,deep,and dynamic for a monitor . Set up properly away from walls and give them room . It plays all kind of music with expression and detail . I now have the Rega brio  amp running threw Pandora and the Audio Hungary I-20 amp its just gets better . For the money can not go wrong they do like clean power to sound there best and good amount of break in time .

is this the f501?Absolute sound said ..7.5’ feet from the front wall...

I've got the 501s and no I don't have them 7.5' from the front wall, that's why I don't put much stock into their reviews.

Mine are about 2.75' from the front wall and 3' from the side walls and I've got them in a dedicated smallish room of 12x14. I, too, am very impressed with the quality and sound of these speakers.

luxmancI38 Give Fidelis AV in Nashua a call, i think they are now carrying Fyne speakers. Not sure what models they have.

I stopped by today to purchase some albums. The Fyne models they have are the 301's, 500 standpoint in Gloss Black and the 501 a floor stander. Didn't have a chance to hear them as I was short on time.

It sounds like they are, indeed, off the Tannoy family tree, even including the treble energy adjustment.

Any other Fine F 501 users here ?
Paired with a Uniti Atom they sound too bright especially Spotify content..is there a burn in period for these speakers?

Regarding speaker burn-in. No speaker will ever be totally burnt in unless driven at very high levels during the burn in period. Somewhat like overdriving cables with a cable burn in device but different variables at play.

Regarding Fyne speaker burn in. The models with their FyneFlute surrounds take longer than most speakers to burn in. I've heard reports of around 1000 hours. Hang in there.

I can't imagine that Spotify would sound good on any speaker.

Actually I'm glad you revived this thread.I was just this week researching 3 way floorstanders for use with a 15wpc.Sugden Class A amp & came across these..Utube videos seem to give an impression of excellent clarity,which I am sure with the wrong amp could come across as bright.Hopefully we will get some updated opinions of them...

My Fyne F1s took around 175-200 hours 

Looking at their line I would LOVE to demo a pair of the 701 stand mount,91db/8ohm & bass below 40 hz but WOW $7500.00!

@vidya46 Hiya I've owned the F501 for a year now. I dig them so much I just ordered a nearly new set of F502 from Gene Rubin Audio, they arrive in 2 days.  😃

I've owned so many speakers, around 20, in the last 25 years. I recently sold off my big Zu Omen Def, also my Tannoy Cheviot (the new ones). Reason being: these little F501 not only are comparable, I prefer them over each. Here's my own description of how I describe Fyne: 

All the midrange presence of Tannoy + the bass of PMC.

My room is good sized at 20 x 21, and these little Fyne can rumble the entire room.  

About 2 months ago I bought a set of SVS Ultra Tower. It's a close call but I prefer the smaller Fyne due to the effortless mids. Bass is comparable and that's saying something as the SVS have dual 8" woofs each. May be selling the SVS, not sure yet, but it would be more bc I don't need 3 pair (I think ;)  ) 

@vidya46 How's the break in going? Note I bought another pair; huge fyne fan.
