My favorite tweak are the seashells, which you can see here. Here is the description...
SeaShell BlackRain gives a blacker background with higher resolution that is sparkly and fresh. It sounds like the rain at night. It can be used on top of the component or under cables. BlackRain is the only SeaShell that can be used under cables because of its Rainmain silver purification technology on the surface of the crust, it's in direct contact with the cable which cleans the sound.
According to the website, its "performance price" is $700, but they are selling them factory direct for a mere $350. Clearly a bargain. Especially when you consider that they feature an "Alien crystal formula." That must have been very hard to come by.
Gotta go. I have to place my order before you guys buy them out.
If you hold the seashell to your ear can you hear the ocean or do the "alien" properties render it to just a babbling brook or that dripping facet sound that we all hate?
I'm selling my cat for $100k retail $2.5 million . With the cat by your side when you listen to your music is like 3D movie. The cat have been train for the last 5 yrs just to do that . All trade are welcome, payment as low as $1 a day with approve credit. Hurry sale end in 30sec after you finish reading this ad.
I dont see why you laugh at an 1.5 Million Cable (there is other for 2 M on their web site too) and dont laugh at an $25,000 or 5000/m Cable that are very common these days , available from many brands.
I am on the business myself, and suggesting $5,000 or $1.5M for a cables worth is both a joke and a rip off.
Maybe some day when we discover more "super conductors" it could be justified to charge $5,000 or more per meter for an IC.
Going by his feedback, it looks like he has sold a few things. I can just imagine what someone who comes to this site for the first time .With a sincere desire to learn about great sounding audio, must think when they see this crap.
"Phineas Taylor Barnum (July 5, 1810 April 7, 1891) was an American showman, businessman, scam artist and entertainer, remembered for promoting celebrated hoaxes and for founding the circus that became the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.[1]
Although Barnum was also an author, publisher, philanthropist, and for some time a politician, he said of himself, "I am a showman by profession...and all the gilding shall make nothing else of me,"[2] and his personal aims were "to put money in his own coffers."[3] Barnum is widely but erroneously credited with coining the phrase "There's a sucker born every minute."[4]"
I liked Barnums sign stating "This way to the Egress" where upon people would go that direction to a tent flap that led out of the circus and had to pay again to re-enter.
Seems he was a progenitor for modern bankers, politicians and CEOs.
PT Barnum was smart enough to know a thing doesn't sell itself, no matter how great the thing is. That's why there's a circus barker. Step right this way, Ladies and Gentlemen, see the Greatest Show on Earth.
Laughing so much that I have tears coming out of my eyes, this will send me back to sleep Thank you for the post OP if you are still around after 7 years
