Best Remote for Roon Nucleus+

I will be receiving a Roon Nucleus+ w/2 TB SSD to feed my
Bryston BDA-3.  I need a remote (tablet?) to interface with
the Nucleus.  I do have a 2020 iPhone but the screen is too
small.

The Roon site shows systems requirements for iOS and Android
devices only and further states that an 8" device at minimum is
needed for the full GUI to be rendered.  Bigger is better for me
as my eyes are not what the used to be.

Was thinking that possibly someone has tried both...any suggestions
are welcome.

I have a 15" Acer Chromebook that is used to control my Bryston
BDA-3.14 directly which is being moved to another place.
Apparently Roon does not support Chrome OS.

Thanks.

I'm using an iPad Pro 12.9. Big enough that it's easy to use, yet small enough that it doesn't feel clunky

I use my laptop because I have it on my lap most of the time anyway.  I also have a samsung tablet that probably is a little more friendly.  --Jerry

Yes.  Windows.  I didn't know chrome os doesn't work.  My galaxy tab A tablet works fine.  --Jerry

I like my Kindle Fire HD10 tablet for Roon. Sometimes the Kindle app store is a bit slow to catch up with the latest Roon release, but it lags only a few days. No big deal really. $149 ... hard to beat the price.

Agree, the Kindle Fire tablet is the best value. I use Apple products and all work flawlessly. I know others with Window and Android. No complaints.

I use Roon all over.  Windows laptop, PC, Android phone and tablet.  It all works really well.

I was in a similar situation when I started with Roon.  My 10" tablet was rather heavy and bulky to use as a remote so I ordered a Lenovo TB-8705F.  It's the perfect size at 8".  I also use a Windows desktop.

I use and iPad Pro 10.9" and/or Samsung Galaxy S21 phone both work without issues
