Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

BTW, the Counting Crows lp is fantastic! Spacing those grooves out really made this lp sound wonderful in every way. A thumbs up for AP, in that I finally have an lp from them that is pressed almost dead on-center.

next...... Royal Southern Brotherhood "Don’t Look Back" (lp)
Thought about time to make sure my old Pioneer cdp still works!

Retrospective3..... Rush
@slaw - I have that same Counting Crows Record. I agree that the sound quality is excellent. And the songs are excellent too....
Another LRS day

This is the Sea... The Waterboys. DMM copy.

Most excellent sq!
Third Eye Blind S/T album
On cassette,an example of a great production and mastering on the humble tape!

big fan of Third Eye Blind -s/t. 90's Rock at tits finest.Happy Listening!
Third Eye Blind and Collective Soul are 2 very underrated bands imho.
They get a lot of playtime here.
Enjoying!
I will find them on TIDAL and have a listen. My keyboard (Hal) is trying to make a fool of me. Or maybe it's my arthritic fingers....  or brain:)
Big UFO fan. Just picked up an older UFO album and low and behold a bar menu was signed by the band and was in the sleeve. Collective Soul and TEB are underrated IMO. Seen them a few times in concert and love them both. One of my fav 80’s bands is also underrated...Y&T. I’ve got the Vinyl bug and need some equipment upgrades.
Y&T......yes couple of hits but nothing much after, good party band!

What more can you say about Schenker, still one of my fave rock guitarists.
Saw him couple times after UFO as MSG.
Doctor Doctor please indeed!
Yes, I have my original copy of Force It that I bought when it came out and it's a great record.
++ on Y&T. If your a Y&T fan, do yourself a favor, check out Dave Meniketti. He was the heart and soul of the band, IMO. Guitars and vocals. 2 solo projects by him are hard to find. I have them on CD and I found mine in Japan.

What a closer! (well, at least until the bass player starts with the dumb posturing; was a pretty good solo up to that point)
stereo5... big Yes fan, remember seeing them in 73 at Cornell when the played the entire tales album.

Today was listening to Wishbone Ash - Argus LP... Pretty good guitar work!
Just back from my (lrs). Surprised to see a nice, original copy of Son Kil Moon "Twin Cities" (lp) sitting against the wall. It now belongs to me!

@nutty,

Of coarse, "Loan Me a Dime" was originally from Boz Scaggs and His Band"

I have the lp to prove it!

Roger Waters, “Amused To Death DSD”
Guns N Roses, “Appetite For Destruction  MFSL”
Jimi Hendrix, “Band of Gypsies Live @ The Fillmore East”
Jimi Hendrix, “Valleys Of Neptune”
Jefferson Airplane, “Surrealistic Pillow”
King Crimson, “Discipline”
Live, “Throwing Copper”

And, I didn’t fall asleep once.
A 1976 Bottom Line, NYC set by Jean-Luc Ponty and his band I ripped from Utube. Good enough fidelity to hear all the nuances of the bands’ playing. What great stuff!
Slaw,
Sorry for the delayed reply. I concur,  Boz Scaggs laid down the original "Loan me a dime". ghosthouse and I were also compairing the two versions in a PM. We agreed the original including Duane Allman was the better.

Live, The Distance to here.
Wow, Edward Kowalczykz, what can you say.
Quicksilver Messanger Service, “Happy Trails” great music, Outstanding Sonics on the Technics/Triplanar rig.

Wes Montgomery, “A day in the Life”
Recovering the Satellites... Counting Crows.

Giving the old Pioneer cdp a spin.
Jack White, Blunderbuss

Jack was a headliner at this past weekends Bunbury Music Festival in Cincinnati.
Monday Jack was presented the key to the City by Mayor John Cranley. Jack also visited King Records tracing the footsteps of James Brown.
