To EVERONE, thankyou for revealing so many artists and their music. I have enough for the rest of my life I think, but keep going. There are more nuggets of gold still to be found. Cheers Adrian |

Enjoying Sinatra “Songs for Swinging Lovers” on 180 gm vinyl (sounds sweeter and way more intimate than digital Tidal version)
Nelson Riddle is a genius. Harry Edison is one of a kind.
I like Sinatra but I enjoy the backing musicians even more... |

Keith Jarret Trio
Still Live
Wow. Have to say, aside from a few "life" moments in the performance (which just adds to its poetic and "real" beauty) this is one of the BEST presentations of recorded music I have ever heard.

It was too nice to stay inside but I did listen to 1 new CD, "Attention, Attention" by Shinedown. I am a fan of this group but IMHO, both the music and sound quality sucked. I was bored within minutes and talk about loudness wars, the volume level on the CD was so high that I was running my preamp at 8 o clock instead of the usual 11-12 o clock. |

Another +vote for Keith Jarrett Trio - Still Live Happy Listening! |
Grant Lee Buffalo "Fuzzy" (lp)
do yourself a favor and check this one out.. |
a dose of my own medicine?
"Mighty Joe Moon" |
stereo5 Unfortunately I have to agree on the new Shinedown album SQ, terrible mastering all round. A real shame as there are some killer tracks on it later into it if you can sit and suffer...lol We are huge fans and have seen them live 4 times, my opinion is that this album is a LOT better than the last one, although that is not much of a compliment I know. Stick with it, it does get better....
|
Ten Years After "Watt" !!!! |
Melissa Etheridge "Never Enough" (lp)
Turn it up!
|
Atlanta Rhythm Section "Champagne Jam" MFSL/lp |
The Jayhawks "Sound of Lies" (lp) |
@uberwaltz...……………….. My wife and I saw them for free at Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut in 2005. Thank God my Mac has tone controls to make the CD a tiny bit more listenable. The singers voice sounded etched or strained or something similar which I just couldn’t get past.
