Pink Floyd, “Wish You Were Here” Analog Productions SACD
Whats playing on your system today?
Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.
I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....
Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....
Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Iris Dement’s entire recorded output, front to back. I saw her last night at The Aladdin Theater, and was once again was graced with the songs and singing---as well as wit and sense of humor---of one of the small handful of greatest musical artists of out times. She is ignored by the vast majority of even hardcore music lovers, including most of you. Your loss. |
OOIOO - Taiga. Japanese Psych-pop album I picked up 10 years or so ago. Thought it was just weird, so really didn’t get any play, but didn’t just dump it off, either. In the player tonight, found it a lot more interesting! Amazing how tastes change and mature over the years with more exposure to different styles. 😁 |
The Mount Fuji Doomjazz Corporation Not specifically because I like it, but that every now and then one has to remind everyone how edgy and cool one is, so the mirror of one’s ego can stroke itself... basking in the warm self satisfying glow of it’s own self created relevancy of self. But seriously....it’s an odd one, but..listenable. |
