Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

When Will The Blues Leave (Live at Aula Magna STS, Lugano-Trevano 1999) --- Paul Bley, Gary Peacock, Paul Motian
St. Vincent.  First time with my month-old Harbeths.  I'm surprised how different it sounds.  She's doing more with the electronics than I thought.  And whoever thinks the SHL5+ can't reproduce bass is wrong.
Dancing on the Ceiling ... Lionel Ritchie.

Cassette

This is a very "hot" recording, it slams the meters deep into the red a lot!
But no distortion I can detect. So must have pushed it right to the limit during mastering.
I like that one from Led Zep. Very late in their history, but great nonetheless. I remember when it came out, bought it right away.

Frente! / Marvin the album
Boxer.

I have to admit to never having been a huge Zep fan ever or Floyd.
When I grew up in England out of the big FOUR I was Sabbath and Purple all the way.

But when I first heard In through the Out Door it just sounded right.
Truth is it was actually the very first Zep album I bought.
I still only own that one on vinyl ... Lol.
@boxer12 - I like that Frente album. I've had it on CD since it came out. Interesting sound quality. Very crisp sounding, without being harsh. I love their version of " Bizarre Love Triangle".
reubent, I agree & also bought it right after it was released. If you haven't yet, check out "shape" from them. It's also very good.

Bob Dylan / Self Portrait
