Eddie Higgins trio.... Classical jazz by a sensible pianist, very known in Japan, less here it seems... Venus recordings sound is very good....
It will not rock your brain nor your house but your heart ....
It is on par with Bill Charlap trio, another undeserved great pianist....
Almost all of their cd are good.....If you like one you will like the bunch.... |
Wynton Marsalis - S/T. Blue VOX. Swiss release, live. Probably 1983, recorded in 1980.
Strange release, as this seems to be Wynton playing with ‘the Art Blakey band’ per other versions on Discogs, which he did at that time. Very nice recording though.

I pulled out two cds I hadn't listened to in years- BEE GEES ONE and America- History. Realize that some may scoff, but One is an amazingly listenable album. Those harmonies are truly relaxing. Grand daughter and wife danced the entire CD. Generally prefer ACDC and Earl Klugh type music, but Barry and the twins have their place

@boxer12 It sounds really good in my office. I have a roof mounted antenna and it is terminated in my office. I listen to the jazz station while I'm working. I just removed the tuner I had in my main system because I never listened to it at night. |
You should try that tuner in your other system Greg. I bet it would shine.
Jarvis Humby / Assume the position 60's style British rock |
It would be a lot better without the big computer monitors and desk in front of it, LOL. |
Sounds like a great set up Greg. That tuner is legendary
Todd Rundgren / Something anything |
I've been listening to the local NPR jazz station all day. I have some new speakers I'm auditioning in my main system and moved my Harbeth Super HL5 Plus speakers into the office system. I put new tubes in my ARC VSi55 yesterday. Source is my Magnum Dynalab Etude FM receiver. Things are sounding quite magical!
