Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1

Daryl Hall John Oates-ooh yeah! Side 1

Shooting Star-Hang On For Your LIfe Side 1

David & Shelly-In Session Side 2 SQ*

Vision Quest(VA) Side 1

Santana-Freedom Side 1

The Motels-Little Robbers Side 2 SQ*

The Babys-Union Jacks Side 1

Jeff Lorber-In The Heat Of The Night Side 2 SQ*

Yes it was 80's night! I avoided some of the biggest sellers for a more unique playlist. Nothing made Audiophile SQ* status partially due to the Sunday evening power(quality) not being up to standard. Tough to pick a SQ winner but David & Shelly had an organic SQ edge. Shooting Star one of my favorite rock(non metal) albums of the 1980's.

Natalie Merchant - Paradise Is There

Nonesuch Records 2015

I had listened to this a number of times streaming and just picked up the Dual LP.

Wow! Sounds absolutely fantastic. What a gem!

Nice

New Nishia Smith “friends with Monsters” on pink vinyl.

A bit of surface noise and definitely it is pressed on yeah hotter side, so tracking is a challenge.
But pretty oiled school lounge sound is nice.

Grateful Dead - History of The Grateful Dead, Vol. 1 (Bears Choice).

Fantasy 2LP reissue 180gram, 2012, originally 1983

Neil Young / After The Gold Rush
2009 Reprise RE, orig. 1970

No. 3 in the Neil Young Archives Original Release Series, excellent reissue.

Nielsen-Symphony No.4(DG-2532 029) Side 1&2 SQ Audiophile

Uriah Heep-The Magician’s Birthday Side 1 SQ*

Eric Clapton-Backless Side 2

Richie Cole-Alto Madness Side A SQ Audiophile

Earth Wind & Fire-Faces Side 4 SQ Audiophile

Robin Trower-For Earth Below Side 1

Frank Gambale-Brave New Guitar Side 1 SQ Audiophile

The Nashville String Band-Identified! Side 2

EWF takes the SQ crown by a nose over Carl Nielsen. SQ* Shocked how good Uriah Heep sounded must be an early 1st pressing could have Audiophile SQ need another listen. Nashville/Clapton battle for last SQ place. Clapton was dark/muddy Nashville was edgy/thin.
