@slaw Barrett is the place to start, in my option. The Madcap Laughs is EMI trying to fit him into a box and present as a traditional band - Barrett is a bit looser and follows Syd’s vision - whatever that may be at the time.

All are worth owning - and should be required listening IMO. A brilliant writer who maybe flew a bit too close to the sun. An acquired taste like @noromance said - maybe Tyrannosaurus Rex being the closest comparison.

John Sebastian-Welcome Back Side 2

Rosemary Clooney-Sings Jimmy Van Heusen(CJ 308) Side 2 SQ Audiophile

The Rolling Stones-Goats Head Soup Side 1

Steve Perry-Street Talk Side 1

7/8 albums have not been played only SD. Power was weak for a Sunday night, last Friday 3/1 had superior power. Have missed many Sunday nights this year due to holidays/football and events... hope to put a long streak together. Ms. Clooney takes the SQ crown with 1 of her strongest Concord releases.

Eno - Taking Tiger Mountain by Strategy

Island 1974, reissue, sometime in the late 70’s when I purchased it new.

Sugar Loaf Express, featuring Lee Ritenour.

A Direct to Disk... True ear candy.

@slaw This is the only one I have. It’s an acquired taste but very unique. It’s an NM original and worth quite a bit.
