Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO

LOL! Yup. Been there. Guess it's a LRS or he uses multiple online stores with no inventory control. Not the greatest seller but I have got some decent stuff from him.
@noromance

Well, I won’t try him again. I keep trying to find smaller niche’ sellers (especially classical) who have a good solid inventory, and who know how to grade realistically. Not easy to find on Discogs. I actually have much better luck on eBay.
GoodRats Birth Comes To Us All on my Denon dp59L ParasoundHint 6 and 30yr old MartinLogan Sequels, sooooooo happy
G Dead, Skull F-ck, MoFi, Side 4.  Latest issue of HFN reminded me how fun this can sound.
Slipknot into Lowell George.
Into Allen Toussaint.

Ending with some Ramsey Lewis, pretty good copy from Tom Port.
Good idea @flennon

Spiritofradio,
Just bought a "Black Mifi" album on Discogs (thanks for the recommendation) along with a couple Bardo Ponds I didn't have.

Bardo Pond / Ellipse
Listened to Paul Simon's "Graceland" on Amazon Music in "Ultra HD". It's a great album and it sounded nice, but the varied instruments and even Paul's voice lacked the live presence that I recalled.
Put the 1st pressing of the same album that I bought in 1986 on the turntable and was blown away by the difference. Had to listen to the entire album again, savoring every note.
Elvis Costello & The Attractions / Armed Forces

“The complete Armed Forces story curated by Elvis Costello includes….9 pieces of vinyl (3 LPs, 3 10 inch LPs and 3 7 inch singles)…

And some pretty cool ephemera.
Just finished enjoying the main course, the rest will be fun.

Suddenly, it’s my senior year in high school again.

(What’s so funny ‘bout) peace, love and understanding?
@mwinkc   I think that you will find just as great of a sound quality difference when comparing your original copy of Graceland to the remastered/reissue 25th Anniversary Edition.  If you really like that album (I certainly do) and choose to make that purchase you will be greatly rewarded.  It's one of my go-to albums for high fidelity demonstration on my system.  Enjoy!
Mommothguy54, I'm usually skeptical of newer re-mastered releases. But on your recommendation, I'll look for it.
Thanks

Picked up a large cache of used LPs at a Goodwill around me - 187 in total, mostly rock or pop.  Been going through them one by one, and right now it's Gerry Rafferty's City to City (I've heard "Baker Street" more times than I needed to, but it also has "Right Down the Line", which is a gooder), Bob Seger Night Moves, Tom Petty's Mudcrutch double album (this is great!), Joni Mitchell Court and Spark, some bootleg Beatles Let It Be album, andsome various rock pop compilation albums.
@bikerbw ya, what a haul. Right Down the Line is a great song. Rafferty is a player of fewer but more meaningful notes - love his stuff….
The St. Paul lp is highly recommended for the music and performance. IMO, Paul Janeway is the male equivalent of the late/great Sharon Jones.
super mighty fine..

Miles Davis - Kind of Blue ( 45 rpm MoFi 2 disc box set….yowsa )
