Puzzle - Yes it's vinyl, but first song on side 2 has a scratch from too many beers one night. I use my SAE 5000A for that song...
The Alberni Quartet : Britten - String Quartets 2 & 3. CRD Records 1981 UK release

Man, this is very nice
Followed up on yesterday's posts on Roxy Music - For Your Pleasure. 1973 WB pressing. The production on this album was fantastic and the SQ on this pressing is equally fantastic. What a great album.

It's been way too many years since I last listened to this album.

The postings and suggestions from everyone on this thread are very much appreciated!
@tomic601  Nice to hear that your shrimping was a successful trip.  Enjoy the catch!  The bluefin tuna are really biting now but I can't go on a trip until after my wife returns from a vacation with her cousin.  Around June 21 I should be able to go and get some BFT.  I also have 3 more trips lined up for August/September.  Stock the freezer!

The Beach Boys  'Surf's Up'  Analogue Productions / QRP.  Excellent!

The Motels  'All Four One'  I think this is their best album.  Excellent music and just as great in SQ.

Miles Davis  'Kind of Blue'  Analogue Productions / QRP  UHQR.  I just received this and it is fantastic!  Recently released as the latest UHQR album.  If you like this album I can say it is definitely worth the price of admission to get it on UHQR.

After a 3 months wait I finally received my bass Tri-Traps from GIK.  That really made a nice difference.  I have achieved another level of bass definition.  I knew it was there, I just had to get these corner traps to get the results.  And indeed, it does the job well.
The Gabrieli String Quartet : Bridge - Novelletten For String Quartet / Three Idylls For String Quartet & Britten - String Quartet In D Major (1931) / Phantasy Quartet For Oboe, Violin, Viola And Violincello. London Treasury Series 1979
Joel...BFT is a culinary and angling pinnacle:-)...Shrimping is like farming so i wear my John Deere hat.....

Bass traps worth the wait nice!

Norah Jones - Day Breaks ( funky orange..transparent vinyl.. )
Sinfonia: Concerto Movements from Bach cantatas.
Concentus Musicus Wien
Nikolaus Harnoncourt
Telefunken 1976

Themes from Great Broadway shows
Metropolitan Jazz Quartet
MGM Microgroove record. Probably early 60's. A throw in (along with others) when I bought a Technics SL 1300. Very nice recording.
headed South on the beach to a party where rumors have it much Dylan will be spun.....

Jim, I have succeeded at 4 BFT in the past 5 years.  40 lb, 80 lb, 130 lb, and 150 lb.  My hope is to get 4 more, this season alone.  60 lb to 110 lb would be perfect.  That 150 lb BFT nearly killed me...LOL  And yes indeed, a culinary pinnacle.  The most awesome sashimi, sushi, seared, and smoker grilled.

Enjoy the beach, the music, and certainly the shrimp.
Very cool Jim!

Mammothguy,
We're thinking along the same lines... I made some acoustic panels & placed them at the first reflection point on the ceiling of my listening room today. Nice improvement for sure!
The Claremont Quartet : Schoenberg - Ode To Napoleon Buonaparte For String Quartet, Piano, And Reciter, Op. 41 / Webern - String Quartet, Op. 38 / Stravinsky - Concertino For String Quartet & Three Pièces For String Quartet. Nonesuch 1968
I use my SAE 5000A for that song

@fiesta75, How easy or difficult is it to take that in and out of your analogy chain?   Is it on a switch?   Do you think either the switch and/or the SAE compromise your sound quality?

Bernstein conducts Vaughan Williams - Symphony No. 4 & Serenade to Music. New York Philharmonic. Columbia Masterworks 1968. Recorded live.
spiritofradio - The SAE 5000A is in a tape monitor on preamp, one switch. SAE also has a bypass switch on the front. I use the tape monitor so I don't think/can't tell if it effects sound. When the SAE is switched in, even when adjusted to "just" remove the click, it does remove some high frequencies. I only use it when needed.
@fiesta75,  I see.  Thanks.
