Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
I mounted my Clearaudio Virtuoso Wood cartridge on the SL1200 MKII today. It's sounding really good! Seems a little more punchy in the mids than my Van Den Hul MC Two Special or the Hana SL. I was getting a hum when using MM carts. Switched out cables and it went away. Time to enjoy now!
I will check out Shelby today, Uber “ the future is plastics!”... when you were in Ahia were you by any chance at Plastic plant in Wapakanetta?
and my comments about Condos relate more to pressing quality than color... why do I seem to get the junk ??   And yes there is some great music on that record... very Dan like in places...
Neko Case - The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You
Last night we listened to the Janus Starker Bach Cello Suites, 45rpm reissue from Acoustic Sounds. Very cleansing during this strange time we are all living in.

Today, The Replacements are streaming in the background - just for fun and a reminder that fun is also possible now.
Steve- I am streaming Shelby new album and really enjoying it... but I get the hair comment, now....
Clive Gregson & Christine Collister – Mischief (Special Delivery 1987)

Bought new when released as it got great reviews. Not bad.
The Fleetwoods ‎– The Fleetwoods Greatest Hits (Dolton 1962)

Lovely stuff. Kids in convertibles driving from the diner to Lover's Lane.
The New John Handy Quintet With Bobby Hutcherson ‎- New View! (Columbia 1967)
The Jazz Corps, Under The Direction Of Tommy Peltier Featuring Roland Kirk ‎– The Jazz Corps (Pacific Jazz 1967)

Psychedelic jazz. The first jazz album I’ve ever heard with flute that’s musical and not annoying. Sax and awesome percussion. Great recording too. Good stuff.
Just got back from being out of town the last day and half, and, finally, getting to play some music...

Neville Marriner/Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields : selections by Wagner, Faure, Tchaikovsky, Grieg, Dvorak, & Boccherini. Angel 1980

Good to listen to some vinyl after streaming in the car.
@noromance I streamed Mischief and greatly enjoyed it - thanks ...my horizons grow due this thread which a so greatly value.
Erroll Garner ‎– Concert By The Sea (Columbia 1970 RE [1956])

Love this live piano gig with sparse accompaniment. Wonderful recording. Applause is a little hot though.
Where did you get turned on to All the records you own?
@slaw Not sure what you mean. I dunno. Just like stuff. In part, it's because I love acoustic instruments recorded in the pre-digital era. Live jazz is magic. I put it down to my rig just lighting up most everything I play. Does that make sense?
@slaw

I missed your posting brother.

Aw, thanks man. Missed you guys too, but not as bad as missing my system 😁

and it was only a couple of days.....
@noromance ,

You’re being too modest.

You’re aware of the records you post.

Different from the norm
Billie & De De Pierce / Jim Robinson’s New Orleans Band ‎– Jazz At Preservation Hall II (Atlantic 1963)

Magnificent. I’ve a soft spot for New Orleans Dixieland jazz. It’s a party in your damned soul.
