Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers "You're Gonna Get It" from the box |
TP "Long After Dark" from the box.
Use to play this one to death in the 80s.
|
"Blessed" ..one of Lucinda’s greats!
Clear vinyl. |
That reminds me @slaw: yesterday I received notification of the upcoming release of Lucinda's new one, later this month I believe. It was you who got me back into her, for which I am deeply appreciative! |
Thanks my good friend and brother. |
Tanita Tikeram "Closer to the People" |
"Dark Side of the Moon" have too many copies to figure out which version this one is. |
|
Record fix on its way. 7 albums out for delivery today USPS to the rescue!
|
UberDude!!!! Float the economy!!!!
i have no LP of DSOTM - sadly as Management at a high end audio shop IF I never hear that again....
but I now own a flat black disc of both Aja and Love Over Gold, so I suppose..... |
Lucinda - Blessed always gets me in the right frame of mind - grateful:-) |
Another artist of deep understanding in these dark times is Tracy Chapman ... |
Tomic Do not think for one second I paid remotely anything close to that amount for it... Lol. Us Brits are renowned penny Pinchers!
Found it in a dusty old record store in Fargo ND quite a few years back. It was still spendy for the time but let's just say did not break three figures..... |
LW - Good Souls Better Angels - preorder Amazon :-)
thanks for the heads up gents.... |
David Bromberg - Demon In Disguise (Columbia 1972)
|
Little Queen ..... Heart.
Freshly us cleaned. |
The Three : Joe Sample / Ray Brown / Shelly Mann’s ( d2d Eastwind )
magical |
Uber if it’s any consolation I have been a heavy supporter of the USPS of late.... |
Tomic Yes I agree they are my favorite people right about now! I got more today than I thought was out for delivery. 11 new to me albums.
Slaw will be pleased to know that with his prodding I resolved my lack of Journey albums, now have 5 new to me on record. |
Savoy Brown - Make Me Sweat
|
Frank Zappa and The Mothers - Over-Nite Sensation |
Just Testing ..... Wishbone Ash |
|
Some kickbutt tunes nicks25. Excellent stuff 👍 |

Really enjoy ZZ Top blues style (I Need You Tonight). Interesting band. |
Steely Dan “Katy Lied” MFSL 1-007 |
I received two from Amazon today. Wooden Wand "Death Seat" thanks to @boxer12 Aoife Nessa Frances "Land of No Junction" (I found this just by auditioning some titles and decided to try it)
|
David Bromberg - S/T (Columbia 1971)
Wooden Wand - Death Seat (signed copy)
|
Checked out the "DSOTM" with clearer eyes, it's the 2003 remaster/made in Holland. So that makes it the 30th Anniversary issue. SQ is really good I thought. |
Fool For The City .... Foghat |
Finishing _Gary Moore "Live From London" lp 2
I cannot recommend this lp high enough! |
|
On To Victory .... Humble Pie |
Slaw Gary Moore is one of the most underrated guitarists of our age IMHO.
Loved his work with Lynott but possibly his solo work was his real legacy to blues rock. |
Neil Young – After The Gold Rush (Reprise 1970)
+1 Gary Moore. |
Traffic "Shootout at the Fantasy Factory". From the box/SQ is superb. |
Depeche Mode / Some great reward |
Donovan – Donovan In Concert (Epic 1968)
This is a gem. Good SQ live recording with atmosphere.
|
Your Wilderness ...... The Pineapple Thief. |
All that talk about Gary Moore put me in a Thin Lizzy kind of mood. Even though he didn't play on it, Jailbreak. |
Explosions In The Sky / All of the sudden I miss everyone |
Greg But Gorham And Robertson were a wicked guitar duo in their own right. And Jailbreak is just an absolute classic. |
|
Erroll Garner - Concert by the Sea |
Eels "The Deconstruction" 10"/dbl vinyl/translucent yellow-green, sounds wonderful btw. |
Breaking all the Rules .... Frampton. |
