Whats on your turntable tonight?

For me its the first or very early LP's of:
Allman Brothers - "Allman Joys" "Idyllwild South"
Santana - "Santana" 200 g reissue
Emerson Lake and Palmer - "Emerson Lake and Palmer"
and,
Beethoven - "Piano Concerto No. 4 in G Major" Rudolph Serkin/Ozawa/BSO
slipknot1
TP "Long After Dark" from the box.

Use to play this one to death in the 80s.
That reminds me @slaw: yesterday I received notification of the upcoming release of Lucinda's new one, later this month I believe. It was you who got me back into her, for which I am deeply appreciative!
"Dark Side of the Moon" have too many copies to figure out which version this one is.
Slaw
I only have one copy of DSOTM
But I think its the right one....lol
mfqr 1-017

Outrageous prices being asked for this version right now, upwards of $500.... gulp!

UberDude!!!! Float the economy!!!!

i have no LP of DSOTM - sadly as Management at a high end audio shop IF I never hear that again....

but I now own a flat black disc of both Aja and Love Over Gold, so I suppose.....
Another artist of deep understanding in these dark times is Tracy Chapman ...
Tomic
Do not think for one second I paid remotely anything close to that amount for it... Lol.
Us Brits are renowned penny Pinchers!

Found it in a dusty old record store in Fargo ND quite a few years back.
It was still spendy for the time but let's just say did not break three figures.....
LW - Good Souls Better Angels - preorder Amazon :-)

thanks for the heads up gents....
The Three : Joe Sample / Ray Brown / Shelly Mann’s ( d2d Eastwind )

magical
Uber if it’s any consolation I have been a heavy supporter of the USPS of late....
Tomic
Yes I agree they are my favorite people right about now!
I got more today than I thought was out for delivery.
11 new to me albums.

Slaw will be pleased to know that with his prodding I resolved my lack of Journey albums, now have 5 new to me on record.
I received two from Amazon today.
Wooden Wand "Death Seat"   thanks to @boxer12
Aoife Nessa Frances "Land of No Junction"  (I found this just by auditioning some titles and decided to try it)

Checked out the "DSOTM" with clearer eyes, it's the 2003 remaster/made in Holland. So that makes it the 30th Anniversary issue. SQ is really good I thought.
Finishing _Gary Moore "Live From London" lp 2

I cannot recommend this lp high enough!
Slaw
Gary Moore is one of the most underrated guitarists of our age IMHO.

Loved his work with Lynott but possibly his solo work was his real legacy to blues rock.
Donovan ‎– Donovan In Concert (Epic 1968)

This is a gem. Good SQ live recording with atmosphere.

All that talk about Gary Moore put me in a Thin Lizzy kind of mood. Even though he didn't play on it, Jailbreak.
Greg
But Gorham And Robertson were a wicked guitar duo in their own right.
And Jailbreak is just an absolute classic.
Eels "The Deconstruction" 10"/dbl vinyl/translucent yellow-green, sounds wonderful btw.
Hey Uber,

I went ahead and ordered the 3 John Prine lps @the new Shelby Lynne from MD before they Jack their prices up.
Slaw
i had a quick look at md this morning.
i may well place an order, have not bought anything from them before though.
