@dayglow I have Chicago's greatest hits and ELO's greatest hits and maybe a couple of others.  I find them to be very quiet and detailed.  They certainly don't sound "bright".  I like them.

+1 @big_greg The claimed problem with the earlier released CBS Half-Speed’s is the treble is over accentuated. Not sure if I believe this since I only have 5 or 6 CBS Half/Speed albums. IMO they offer Audiophile SQ for a fair used price my Grofe/Grand Canyon and Silk Degrees have excellent SQ. I’m curious what your opinion is regarding this series.

E.L.O. - Discovery.  This one is a CBS Master Sound Half-Speed mastered copy.  It sounds good in comparison to the 1979 Jet Records copy I listened to yesterday.  A little more detailed and "airy".
