speaker recommendation for 35watt tube mono blocks

I'm looking for a fun exciting speaker that will sing at any level. $1k-$3k    I'm demoing the original Klipsch Forte with Forte II mid/treble drivers and rebuilt crossover paired with old RCA amps. They're a lot of fun to blast and fill the house.  I miss however definition and detail in the imaging when sitting in the sweet spot.  It's a softer focus.  Is the Forte III also like this?
Zu has caught my attention.

speaker recommendation for 35watt tube mono blocks

I’m looking for a fun exciting speaker

Yamaha NS1000 or 1000M or 1000X these luv 35w of tube.
Very detailed, exciting, and put you through the wall tight bass with slam.
Should be able to pick up a good pair for that kind of money

Cheers George
Second jjss49.  Ref 3A de Capos. used 1000-1500.  The I series is wood the newer series has a greyish covering but upgraded tweet and woofer
Third on the Ref 3A de Capos. A few on sale here and on other audio sale sites. They are sensitive and project beautifully.
There is a pair of GR Research NX-Oticas for sale for 2500 on Us Audiomart. You may have to live close though.
4th on the Ref 3A de Capo's.  It was my immediate thought upon reading the subject line.  And, yes, a well integrated subwoofer would be nice, too, but I have not found it essential with them.
Forte III's pair well with the tube amps in your wattage range, as I use them very successfully with 40 watt tube amp myself.  However, they are not the last word in imaging and detail - they are just fun and immersive, like live music.  If imaging, detail, and big bass extension are your priorities you will find better pairings than the Forte III's.
Fritz and Tekton are two brands to take a look at.Both pair very well with tubes
Tannoy should be considered. They do all I need from a loudspeaker. Old or new doesn't matter, mine are from 1975.
I've heard very good things about Martin Logan Motion XL 60s. Supposed to be quite easy to drive with tubes.
Not sure of your music tastes or room size but
a pair of Rogers 3/5 or equivalent would be a
good start. So would the earlier mention of
Fritz.
Personally I, like the Islandman, have older Tannoys
I bought in your price range.

Go do some listening!!
I have a pair of Primaluna Dialogue 7 monoblocks. They drive two Tannoy Revolution XT8F speakers. They sound great! I research everything to death and chose the Tannoys. $2,700.00 for the pair. They love the tube amps.
Bob Crites Cornscala. Under $2000.  Horn midrange and tweeter. Very efficient.
I had 16 pairs of mini monitors home for a listen and then Vandersteen 1Cis, listening to Johnny Cash"s voice was so obvious and right in front of me with better real bass extension and feel making the choice easy.
Their easy load for a tube amp, 90 DB transmission line, nonbox design, great drivers, from a 40 year plus company, add Made in USA with unrivaled support to all owners from the beginning makes this a winner.

Check out Decware Steve builds tube amps and speakers to match he has some very interesting and efficient speakers

I would look at Vandersteen 2 ce sig III. I have sig I‘s paired with a 20 wpc Schiit amp. I was concerned going into the pairing as I read a lot of info that the amp would only sound good with 98 db or higher speakers. I am very happy with the soundstage and volume I am getting from this system. My conclusion is that you can’t get to wrapped up in the specs just go by the end result and sound.
5th on Ref 3a.  I run Ref 3a upgraded Veena with Primaluna Dialogue Premium and REL 5i.  Magical....
I would go with original fortes...should be had for less than $1,000.  Upgrade with alk crossovers ($375) otherwise they will be to shrill....and Crites  titanium diaphragms $75). You will be all in for $1,500 with an amazing pair of speakers that love tubes.  I am using an 8 watt SET amp and have added subs for the low end.  However the forte’s sing with my fisher x202b, which is comparable power wise to your mono blocks

One of the very most musical systems I ever heard had a Mac C22 preamp, Marantz 8B power amp, and a pair of KEF Calinda loudspeakers.  Absolute f'ing magic.  The 8B power amp is 35 wpc and was a good match for these loudspeakers.

They're a little hard to find in the USA, but can readily be had from a European seller for about $500 US plus shipping.
