Power cable

Any recomendations for a nice aftermarket power cable for NAD M25 pluged into Torus AVR 20 no more than1000USD,

Don’t spend $1k on a power cable.

How much should we spend on a power cable? What do you approve of?

Used Audioquest Tornado High-Current. Low noise floor and neutral.
Used Audience AU24se HP if you want a bit warmer sound.
Acoustic Zen Krakatoa is also decent slightly on the warmer side of neutral but a good overall power cord.

Zavfino recommended above is probably a solid choice as it gets good rep although I never tried it. I use and like their Arcadia interconnects.

DH Labs Corona AC is my favorite for under $3K, and it “only” costs $950 for 5’. I’ve preferred it over the $2500 Shunyata NR series.

Incredible proprietary shielding and counter-spiraled 10awg silver-coated oxygen-free copper conductors for noise rejection and increased slam and dynamics.

Not much has been published on it, but it is a significant step above their Red Wave cable, and DH Labs offers a 60-day satisfaction guarantee with this cable.

Totally depends on what sound characteristics or improvements you’re looking for.

This is an educated guess. I would recommend  borrowing an Audio Quest Thunder high current / variable. It is more expensive than I would normally recommend. But, I have been so surprised at the performance of the Storm class Audio Quest power cords, I bet, while the first level storm is around $1K… it would be worth trying. I suspect the result would be startling. Only go through with the purchase if it is clearly worth it to you.

Typically I would recommend a DHLabs cord for your device, or trying an inexpensive Cardas.

one of:

CARDAS CLEAR BEYOND, ( pre-owned)

CARDAS CLEAR ( new or pre-owned)  , or

CARDAS  CKEAR REFLECTION
