New Review on Pine Tree Audio cables
I had made the Pine Tree Audio Rainbow Ribbon speaker wire and the HexaBraid SPC speaker wire & IC's my budget cables of 2024 for the Stereo Times website "Recommended Components of the Year" list. Just sent in the full review. Hopefully, it will be published in the next few weeks. I still cannot believe how inexpensive Pine Tree Audio cables are vs. build quality/performance. Hope you guys take a look at the review for the details on why these are excellent wires and compete with cables at least twice the price.
I highly recommend Pine Tree I needed a special long din connector (with no wider shoulder) for my Mission arm as it's din pins are deeply recessed in a small diameter tube. Pine Tree made me a custom braided phono cable using the connector I asked for, great cooperation, price, promptness, and it sounds just like my expensive Ortofon Phono Cable when I compare them, same arm/cartridge ... |
@charliee I emailed Pine Tree about the HexaBraid series at some point. They answered quickly and were very helpful, just like Veritas has been. If only everyone else in the audio space acted like those two, we'd be way better off. I ended up going with the Veritas Argentum as I wanted a pure silver design rather than silver plated or pure copper. I may still try out a HexaBraid interconnect at some point anyway though. I always like supporting these smaller brands and the HexaBraid series seems like a great value. |
A very 'single-ended' recommendation, i.e. without context. I read the earlier Stereo Times review for this cable. Both that review and this click-bate sound like an advertisement, and nothing more... I hope they are that good, otherwise even more knowledgeable AGs will feel jaded by such comments and reviews. To all others, thanks for your personal experience. It would be most helpful for comments to be referenced to common, well adopted cables such as those from AQ, Cardas, Kimble, etc. |
