New Review on Pine Tree Audio cables

I had made the Pine Tree Audio Rainbow Ribbon speaker wire and the HexaBraid SPC speaker wire & IC's my budget cables of 2024 for the Stereo Times website "Recommended Components of the Year" list. Just sent in the full review. Hopefully, it will be published in the next few weeks. I still cannot believe how inexpensive Pine Tree Audio cables are vs. build quality/performance. Hope you guys take a look at the review for the details on why these are excellent wires and compete with cables at least twice the price.

Best Ethernet and USB cables I have ever used are NeoTech We did do blind test and they out preformed the cheap crap JB uses and cables costing 100 times as much.

That is that no matter what the ASR brats say.

I highly recommend Pine Tree

I needed a special long din connector (with no wider shoulder) for my Mission arm as it's din pins are deeply recessed in a small diameter tube.

Pine Tree made me a custom braided phono cable using the connector I asked for, great cooperation, price, promptness, and it sounds just like my expensive Ortofon Phono Cable when I compare them, same arm/cartridge ...

I'm wondering how their HexaBraid SPC XLR interconnect compares to Veritas Argentum X balanced. I had settled on buying the Veritas, but this Pine Tree cable has me curious if I can get similar performance for half the cost.

I had a pair of the HexaBraid SPC speaker cables made recently, and i’m extremely happy. Firstly with the quality of the product, and secondly and most importantly, the sound. They exceeded my expectations on all fronts.

I have had pinetree audio connectors and cables over 5 years.  I have Rainbow ribbon speaker cables. Jesse has put different ends, special connectors, repaired volume on my crossover.   He is straight up and a nice person.

@charliee I emailed Pine Tree about the HexaBraid series at some point. They answered quickly and were very helpful, just like Veritas has been. If only everyone else in the audio space acted like those two, we'd be way better off.

I ended up going with the Veritas Argentum as I wanted a pure silver design rather than silver plated or pure copper. I may still try out a HexaBraid interconnect at some point anyway though. I always like supporting these smaller brands and the HexaBraid series seems like a great value.

A very 'single-ended' recommendation, i.e. without context.

I read the earlier Stereo Times review for this cable.  Both that review and this click-bate sound like an advertisement, and nothing more...

I hope they are that good, otherwise even more knowledgeable AGs will feel jaded by such comments and reviews.

To all others, thanks for your personal experience.  It would be most helpful for comments to be referenced to common, well adopted cables such as those from AQ, Cardas, Kimble, etc.

Hey Everybody,

The review on the Pine Tree Audio cables went up today on Stereo Times. Hope you take a look at it for the details for why I made them 2024 budget cables of the year.

Hope you enjoy the review, Teajay
