Love reggae. I particularly enjoyed Stick Figure's "Set in Stone" last year. Big full sound. I also think that some of Lucky Dube's later works like Tax Man sound pretty darn good. Of course it helps that Dube had the voice of an angel. And Ziggy sounds pretty good as well.

If you have a blu-ray player, check out Bob Marley’s 30th Anniversary Edition of the Legend album on blu-ray audio. Nice touches and the best reggae I’ve heard in hi res. Only complaint is they used a different version of No Woman No Cry (studio vs live). For standard CD check out Lucky Dube and Burning Spear Live Zenith ‘88. Best live reggae concert ever! Sound is a 7/10. |
