in our audio groups are audio techs . 50 cent buzz fuse tinned brass  on metals index a 18 , Hifi tuning gold over Pure silver a 65 meaning 3x better conductors ,3 x less resistance or noicse, everythjng goes through the fuse ,also these have ceramic body vs glass and filled with fine silica sand , vibration as well as conductor actually do sound cleaner but takes several days to fully settle in. In a scope the noise after replacing 3-4 fuse was Huge  and sonically better detail to to bottom , unless you took the time to measure and compare you speak out of ignorance. 1000s of Audiophiles can’t ge all wrong , even a conversation 

with Nelson Pass and John Curl  stated there was a valid purpose v for quality fuses if you had good equipment that is resolving .

Baylinor,  I just install one HiFi Fuse on my Audiolab CDT 9000, and the result is unbeleivable.  As you mentionned, it was easy because the fuse is accessible from the IEC at the outside.  Thank's.

Since there doesn't seem to be a fuse tray on the outside, the only option is to take the top off the unit and look behind the iec plug and look for a fuse. I personally only switch fuses when they are accessible from the outside. 

Boutique fuses are another way for the unscrupulous to extract money from you.

The R-N2000A needs anything but a tuning fuse. It's already balanced in its frequency response and the damping factor is high enough that it doesn't adversely affect the frequency response of your speakers so why the hell do you want to replace the fuse?
