In a scope the noise after replacing 3-4 fuse was Huge and sonically better detail to to bottom , unless you took the time to measure and compare you speak out of ignorance
A "huge" improvement in a measurement that you don’t care to define / describe isn’t exactly reassuring but at least you own an oscilloscope, that’s a step in the right direction.
Anyway, using HRC fuses in audio equipment is probably fine and possibly good practice, even if not for their primary purpose which is to not explode when subjected to very high currents.
