Sad to read this.  What an inspiring songwriter and what a voice.  First Keith, now Greg.  I'll be playing some ELP today, no doubt.  RIP Greg Lake!

I must have seen ELP at least a dozen times in their heydays back in the 70's.  Always put on an excellent show.  Greg Lake had such a wonderful voice and was an excellent bass player.  All the great ones are dying off.  RIP Greg.
I'm very sad to read this.  I never had a chance to see ELP or Greg Lake.  The last time he was in my neck of the woods a couple of years ago, he was supposed to appear with Keith Emerson.   They got into some kind of snit just before show time and the gig was cancelled as the hall was filling up.  I wasn't able to attend that concert, but figured if the tour sold well, they'd be around again.  I did catch Carl Palmer's 2014 ELP Legacy show later that year, so was mollified at the time.  Now I'll never get the chance, so am bummed.  And on the day John Glenn dies, too.  A sad day indeed.

I never got to see them but I bought their albums as they came out in the 70's. When I think about the enjoyment they gave my friends and me I have to say, What lucky men we were.
Ugghh! So sorry to hear about Greg Lake. When I was a kid I had an FM transistor radio that used to play under my pillow as I went to sleep at night. Emerson, Lake & Palmer was one of my favorite bands and I vowed that when I could, I would own decent audio gear so I could hear their music as it was meant to be heard. Now I am there and Greg Lake has passed away. Fortunately his music will live on forever. The lamp of laughter dies too soon! Thank you Greg for your glorious music!
What a voice.  Emerson Lake and Palmer, Trilogy and Brain Salad Surgery  were (and still are) 3 great albums.
Only Carl Palmer remains. so sad. RIP Greg.
Out of the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of concerts that I have attended, ELP was one of the best.

R.I.P. Greg
I have enjoyed his music for so many years. I will remember him with love and respect and continue to listen to his music.
Thanks Greg!
Sad, Brain Salad Surgery was one of my high school days go to.  RIP Greg.

Sorry to read this news. Thought he had a wonderful voice and enjoyed his bass playing very much. Take a Pebble and Still You Turn Me On sound great all these years later.

Especially at this time of year ..... "I Believe in Father Christmas."
Thanks for all the beautiful music Greg Lake.  Rest in Peace Sir.
A lot of people discovered prog rock thanks to Greg Lake. One of my favorite voices and performers of that genre and time. He will be remembered.
John Wetton has gone too. He and Greg have the most melodic, pure, warm, emotional and manly voices. The 2 first ASIA records as well as the mid 70´s King Crimson stuff will be spinned again.

Thanks for the incredible music RIP
