I'd expect different speakers to yield more difference than an amp change for those.
@roxy54 is gonna have a field day with this post. |
Ty everyone I play these at 4 ohms and they sound amazing from Chicago to lamb of God . But I have had these 7 years before these I was listening to 6 vs series cerwin 12 and 15 played for 35 years Bass notes not problem it's foot pedal sounds I thought these would punch faster response with xls28 so far the mids highs are great but double foot pedals what I need ty for all the responses |
It looks like those speakers can’t do what you want by looking at the spec sheet. If you like the CV sound, but want more umph, getting a good sub or 2 would be one way. It seems that SVS has some good performance bargains available that can do what you need. Or, finding a couple pairs of older, but good condition CV’s with the 15 woofers in them and use those, instead. If neither one of those options sound good, I'd look into adding an EQ to the system to boost the upper bass region to get more kick. Schiit Audio makes a couple that might work well for you: |
If you must have that foot pedal itch cured, two of these B460's will help see here. Mike |
