All of these are on audiophile vinyl in my collection, (but are available on other types of media as well).

Neil Young's - Live Rust
Bill Evan's - Sunday at the Vanguard
Supertramp's - Paris
George Thorogood's - Live
I almost forgot, Art Pepper "Landscape" . It's a xrcd 24, and, although not as good as some xrcd 24's , it is much better than redbook. It was recorded in 1979 with a great band and Art has never been better.
Heart has a CD called The Road Home. It is a concert in Seattle from 1996 I believe. Amazing..
RUSH-Exit...Stage Left.
RUSH-A Show Of Hands. These are the 2 best that I
can think of.
Grateful Dead - Europe 72
The Band - Rock of Ages
Jackson Browne - Running on Empty
Stephanne Grappelli/David Grisman - Live
Stephanne Grappelli - Live in London
U know what? I think have most of the albums cited here as well! Little Feat, Heart, Bill Evans, Alison Krauss, Dee Dee....didn't know there was a live album by the Pretenders!
My vote goes for the following:

1. Soda Stereo MTV Unplugged
2. La ley MTV Unplugged
3. Shakira MTV Unplugged
Sad to say Live At Blues Alley CD is one of the worst recordings I have ever heard of a great performance. They mananged to make the songbird cold and metallic (and no, its not my gear, checked it out on highest end audio shops in Boston too). Agree w everything else posted, and the Allison Krause CD is a great one for auditioning bass extension.
Sinatra in Concert '57 (DCC)
Clapton - Just One Night (MFSL)
Little Feat - Waiting for Columbus
Allman Bros. - Live at the Fillmore
Allison Krauss and Union Station Live
Three more not listed thus far:
Al Jarreau - Live in London
Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense
Peter Frampton - Frampton Comes Alive
Patricia Barber, Companion(MFSL)
Ray Brown, Walk On
Ray Brown, Monty Alexander, Russel Malone.
The Mission UK - "No Snow, No Show" For The Eskimo (BBC Radio 1 Live In Concert)
Fields Of The Nephilim - "Earth Inferno"
"After the Flood" Dylan
"Concert for Bangaledesh"
"Horowitz: Live in Moscow"
Anything by Delbert Mcclinton
"Live at the Apollo" James Brown
Taj Mahal "The Real Thing"

The only time you will hear 4 tubas rockin' out in a blues jam. This record is incredible and should be in every collection!
More: Dada: Live Official Bootleg Vol. 1
Weather Report: 8:30
Soulive: Soulive
Marcus Miller: The Ozell Tapes
Eric Johnson: Alien Love Child: Live & Beyond
"Footloose & Fancy Free" - Bill Bruford's Earthworks.
Stunning jazz performance, excellent sonics and production. Got five stars from Downbeat magazine, to boot.

"At Montreux Jazz Festival" - Bill Evans Trio
The 1968 performance w/ Eddie Gomez and Jack DeJohnette. Gorgeous work from Evans. "Montreux II" recorded in 1970 (w/ a different drummer) is also a must have, IMHO.

"All Night Wrong" - Allan Holdsworth.
Jaw dropping (and rare) live work from the guitar master, recorded in an intimate Tokyo club, only marred by Chad Wackerman's drums being a tad too out front in the mix.

"At Folsom Prison" - Johnny Cash
Possibly the Man in Black's finest hour. 'Nuff said.

"The Koln Concert" - Keith Jarrett
Reaching for musical transcendence. Some don't like Jarrett's occasional moaning, but his slowly developing, constantly mutating beauty is stunning on any number of levels.
Ok I know allot of them actually but Neil Diamond Hot August Night Is just awesome. Eric Clapton Just One Night Great LP.
Grand Funk Railroad Caught In The Act one of the best drum Solo's on Record.
Rush - Exit Stage Left. The first live album I ever bought. Also, Talking Heads - Stop Making Sense.
Bill Evans' Sunday at the Village Vanguard (or Waltz for Debby) and Keith Jarrett at the Blue Note.
Zappa-live at the roxy
Jethro Tull-bursting out
Genesis-Seconds out
Theads-stop making sense
Iron Maiden-live after death
Cannonball Adderly Quintet in San Francisco
Lou Reed 'Rock and Roll Animal'
And, a personal favorite, Tragically Hip Live
"It's Too Late Too Stop Now" Van Morrison in 1973, terrible recording but if you like vintage Van it's the man at the top of his game. It's Caledonia Soul Music. Not for everyone.
Get ahold of Guess Who "Live at the Paramount". Worth finding for the extended version of Anerican Woman, alone. Albert Flasher, Truckin', Runnin Back to Saskatoon, Glace Bay Blues, and others, are excellent. The vinyl version is great and there are bonus cuts from the same performance on the CD.
LIVE DEAD Listening to Saint Steven and Dark Star show you what a live show is all about
ELLINGTON AT NEWPORT 1956 - the 1999 reissue using the recording from the mike that Gonsalves played to for his solo.
