Bookshelf speakers that renders 3D soundstage
I agree with @tomcarr  I've been at it since 1968. The most dramatic change I encountered in the areas that you are looking for occurred when I built a room that is in part dedicated to listening.
15 ohm speakers yea or nay?
I use 16 ohm speakers because my amps like them. Or,...you could say that I use OTL tube amps because my speakers like them.

Recommendations for HiFi Listening Room
I thought you were going to ask about room treatment.  my room is a similar size and shape. The walls are covered with 5.5” and the ceiling with 15.5” of rockwool, which is then covered with fire resistant burlap.  The rest of my system, seen at...
What speakers have you mistakenly let go and then later repurchased?
I went from Altec 604Cs to a pair of Wharfedale floorstanding speakers, can’t remember the model but they were huge. I never sold the 604Cs, I sold the Wharfedales and went back to the Altecs.
Where did you buy your first audio gear?
A Lafayette store, in Hamburg, New Jersey.

Washington Post article on MoFi vs. Fremer vs. Esposito
This tempest in a teapot has no effect on my listening experience.    I have found almost all of my MoFi LPs - not just these DSD or whatever they are called things - to sound inferior to my carefully cared for original pressings from decades ago...
what’s a song cover that you think is better than the original?
Sandy Denny’s version of Richard Farina’s “Quiet Joys of Brotherhood”.
what’s a song cover that you think is better than the original?
Just about anything that Eva Cassidy did. Here is one.
what’s a song cover that you think is better than the original?
@painter24 The Airplane version of Wooden Ships was released 6 months after the CSN version, but they were both recorded in March of 1969. Furthermore, Paul Kantner co-wrote the song with Crosby and Stills, and the narrative concept is really P...
How Audiphiles are Different
@deludedaudiophile  You completely miss Erik’s point. To the point of being inappropriate.  I agree with Erik. We are all wired differently.
