At what point can you hear a Fast or Slow Table?
Monk: Gosh, after more than 40 years of listening seriously to jazz, collecting more than 5000 recordings, and teaching a college course in jazz appreciation, I thought I WAS a REAL JAZZ LISTENER. Don't know how I could have been so ignorant about...

Follow-up: I found that Tower Records stocks this 3-CD set for about $58.
Intergrateds: Bryston,Creek,Naim,Musical Fidelity
A fifth option, which is the one I'd take, is to buy the new Bryston B100-SST. Read the recent review on the B-100 in HiFi+ magazine for detailed information.
What upgrade to my scoutmaster system next?
If you decide to buy the phono stage next, there is currently an ad here on A-gon for a Tom Evans "The Groove", a superb phono preamp, for $1400. If I were in the market, I'd already have bought it...
If $ was no object what speaker would you buy?
My choice would have to be predicated on my listening room and the equipment I currently own. Many of the "megabuck" super-speakers, such as the Wilson Alexandria's and the Alon Grand Reference, are simply impractical for the vast majority of list...
Is Apogee in a class by itself among planars?
Yes, the Apogee speakers were certainly in the top tier of planars. I'd also include the old Magnaplanar Tympani 4's and the 20.1's in the category of "best".
What is the best Frank Sinatra CD?

I went to the link you mentioned (a German website), and it states that Network does not sell to private individuals. I'll do a bit of search on the Internet to find dealers, but do you know of a source where the CD set can be purchased?
Does antiskating matter with spring disabled?
I am using the Expressimo heavy counterweight on my Rega RB-900, and have the VTF disabled (by turning the VTF gauge all the way up). And unlike Dopogue, I was really quite amazed at the improvement wrought by the Expressimo counterweight.
At what point can you hear a Fast or Slow Table?
People with very acute hearing and sense of pitch might be able to detect a variance of more than a few percent either way, assuming the deviation is constant, but the majority of listeners will probably not hear this small a difference. However, ...
Good CD/DVD Combo...
The Denon 2910 and 3910 are both excellent players in their respective price ranges, and both have been very favorably reviewed. If your budget is limited, start with the 2910, which offers much of the performance of the 3910 for about half the pr...
Installing Aftermarket PC on Adcom Amp's
I respect Adcom's products (and have sold them professionally), but I don't think adding aftermarket powercords to these two amps is a very good expenditure of your money.
Carver Vs. Adcom
I have owned both of these amps, and preferred the sound quality of the Adcom. However, if I were to advise you, I'd suggest you try to find a used Adcom 5500, as the 555 is a much older design from the late 1980's.
Which model Bryston with Vandersteen?
The price difference for a used 3B-SST vs. a used 4B-SST is not large, and my long-term experience with Vandy speakers (any model) is that they perform better with more power rather than less. Therefore, I'd recommend the 4B-SST.I am using a 4B-ST...
best sounding small speakers
One of my personal favorites among small speakers is one that rarely gets mentioned anymore: the Sequerra Pyramid MET-7. For more info about this fine speaker designed and sold by Richard Sequerra, go to the following link:http://www.sequerra.com/...
