magnepan Seems curious that they would name a new speaker exactly the same as one long retired from their product line.
Ideas for Pre/Power $9000? I'd split your budget in half. Half for amplification and half for new speakers.
Speaker Efficiency Clayton is no longer at Spatial. I have no idea why that amp didn’t work. On paper it was a great match and the Decware drove a pair of khorns like there was no tomorrow.
Speaker Efficiency I’d be careful matching fleawatt amps with Spatial speakers. I had the x3 with powered subs and 96 db. You would think, easy to drive? A Decware Torii II @ 30 wpc wasn’t up to the task.

Clayton Shaw Acoustic Lab's Caladan open-baffle speaker ($3295/pair). Bache sells loudspeakers too.

Holy Grail Analogue Recording Big Band found! I have this on vinyl. I did not realize it was so rare.
ISO - grit, texture, decay, life from snares and bass drums A well thought out system in a well treated room will need no eq. Address all other issues and you will find that it’s unnecessary.
Considering a Second Subwoofer for the Front Since my last post was removed, let’s try this again. What in the H E double toothpicks is a bucket sub? Can we see an example of this beast? Your OP was very vague and cryptic. You should provide more details if it’s really advice you are aft...
