Potential upgrade path… So sounds like your 35k would be better invested elsewhere. How about a super high end headphone rig?
Potential upgrade path… If that’s the best you can do for speaker placement, you’d be wasting your money. Hate to be a party pooper, but that’s the way I see it.

Pure Class-A Amp under $2000 (USED) The Aegir will double power into four ohms when used as a stereo amp. As monoblocks, 80 watts into 8 ohms. Not recommended for a four ohm load as monos. The OP might get by with his 6 ohm SF, but I’d reach out to Schiit and ask.
Pure Class-A Amp under $2000 (USED) I agree with the Aegir recommendation. However, you can only use them as monoblocks if the impedance is a nominal 8 ohms. Your speakers are 6 ohms so it’s not advisable.

Lost it to Black Friday! Ordered it! Just keep in mind that most integrated amps, especially budget models, use cheap alps pots for attenuation. This is a bottleneck for sound quality. The attenuator isn’t everything, but it’s a big thing.
Klipsch Speakers Current Heritage Klipsch speakers are anything but bright. If these are giving you trouble, look to your room or associated equipment.
Bob Carver tube amps I too have read all the negative press about the recent Carver offerings. If that’s all I had to go on, I’d probably shy away also. But my experience with the Crimson 275 says something different. A few years ago I bought a pair of Spatial Audio ...
Lost it to Black Friday! Ordered it! So you bought an integrated amp to use only as a preamp? Did I read that right?
Experience with applying Kilmat to Cornwall IV Horns? Cornwall IVs do need several hundred hours for best sound. Be patient and you’ll be rewarded.
