Whats the best sounding tube cd player up until now? Vintage or newer.

The Canor CD 1.10 and CD 2.10 are excellent with a tube based output stage.

One of the best sounding CD player / DACs I've heard (tube or solid state) is the Black Ice Audio Transport DAC (tube output stage). I think the retail price is very reasonable considering the sound quality. Unfortunately, they are backordered for several months out.

+10 for the Aesthetix…a guy who knows great analog and digital…and tubes……

EAR Acute CDPs. Great sounding units that never seemed to garner much press.
Also Aesthetix CDPs, more great stuff.

Don't know if it's the best cause it's the only tube cd player I've heard and I'm sure alot on the site would say it isn't but I enjoy the music from my Jolida JD 100.

there are no all tube cd players. they're hybrid at most or just having tubes for output.
