Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Finish the night of with another one of my favorite British bands

Misplaced Childhood...Marillion
Fish....a true character!
Real old school, more Brit invasion...lol.

First up.

Never let me down.... David Bowie
Never knew these guys collaborated and made an album but had to buy it.
Hsas.... Through The Fire.
Hagar, Schon, Aaronson, Shrieve.

Pretty darned good tbh
Coldears
I literally wore out a vinyl copy of 2112 in the year  of 77 in our college break room on a cheap player.
We had 3 records on constant repeat that blew our 17 year old minds
2112
Paradise Theater
Destroyer

Great times!
Earth...Jefferson Starship.

Grace Slick still one of my fave female singers! She did well to survive San Fran relatively unscathed.
Brickyard Road. ... Johnny Van Zant.

Trivia note for the day

Donnie Van Zandt lives approx 3/4 mile from me....
The Autumn Effect... 10 Years

Hate to say it but I had to spit this out of the OPPO after about 10 minutes as could not stand the sq. Its a great album but the CD mastering is truly god awful!
Uberwaltz one of my College favs!  JS. Earth.

Driving n Crying.  "Mystery Road"
Pops, I listed my college triage of albums earlier...lol
Glad Starship was on your radar, must look for some more vinyl by them.

Next up southern boogie.

Double Trouble.... Molly Hatchet.
The 1985 original album has 15 tracks, subsequent releases have just 13, and one of the 2 tracks cut is best track on album imho, Walk On The Side Of The Angels.
You could also get this as the b side of a 12 inch single with free bird as the a side....whew!

Jacksonville really spoiled for southern rock with Skynyrd, 38 special, Molly Hatchet etc.
Rahsaan Roland Kirk - Boogie Woogie String Along for Real (MQA)
Simply amazing!!!

Cheers
I received a new pair Totem Forest Signatures today! Beautiful cherry finish. They sound spooky good!
