Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

Default, The Fallout, CD

I 3rd the White Zombie! Love the "Stereophonic Space Sound"

My fave off this one is "Blood, Milk and Sky" but of course they all kick you right in the head and it’s one bad ass recording 😎. You guys know about the Easter egg on the CD, right?

Currently spinnin’ Webb Wilder "Doo Dad"
Nutty, I don't have a "Live" Candlebox, mine included "Lucy & "S/T". Peter Klett played guitars on both.
flamin groovies, jumpin in the night--recorded after the departure of their main man, roy loney (whose "out after dark" is fantastic and on spotify). more of a jangle pop direction. lots of covers (including a version of "werewolves of london" that cuts the original), but it's the originals that really stick with you.

wooden shjps, west--trancey, garagey psychedlia; something like an overdriven velvet underground. oddly hypnotic.
Nutty, there are actually 12 songs on the CD and the extra song is pretty easy to find. The key is the song "Blood, Milk and Sky" 😉

I watched the Muscle Shoals documentary on Netflix this morning. Highly recommended and from that, I’m spinnin’ Lynyrd Skynyrd "Second Helping" on vinyl.
nmmusicman,

Can't stop listening to Ozric Tentacles! Now onto the easter eggs of Zombie.

Jacques Lousier trio - Theme and variations on the allegretto from Beethoven’s 7th symphony. 51 minutes of awesome jazz based on one movement from one symphony. Brilliant! Very "dry" recording.  PUNCHY kick drum.

Today is quite diverse :-)
REO Speedwagon "Ridin' The Storm Out" (lp). I was gifted this in very good shape and happens to be a 1A/1A copy to boot. It's a fun early REO record and sounds very respectable.
Anthony Wilson "Frogtown" (lp)
Doobie Brothers "S/T" (lp)
Average White Band "S/T" (lp)

ami, I for one, like diversity in music.
