Whats playing on your system today?

Today I decided to listen to two of my favorite rock guitar heros and one great vocalist. Guitarist' Robin Trower, Ronnie Montrose and vocalist Davey Pattison.

I listened to Trower songs:
Bridge of sighs, Stitch in time, The fool and me, my personal favorite- Too rolling stoned and others.....

Then I pulled out "Gamma".
I listened to: Razor King, Wish I was and Skin and bone and others.....

Davey Pattison hooked has also up with Michael Shenker also. I really enjoyed my day so far. Anybody else heard anything good?

uber,  Codeine Velvet Club is a band I've never heard. What would you compare them too?
Listening to Linda Rondstadt - Heart Like a Wheel - Hi Res on Qobuz while I work.
Magik Markers / Boss
Very good album IMO. This band reminds me of a band from the 80's called "Opal". Opal eventually morphed into "Mazzy Star" & changed their style a bit during the morphing.

Thanks for the heads up on Royal City. Placed my order tonight after I checked them out. Completely missed this one. Looking forward to following your listening!

MG, You are very welcome

Irving / Good morning beautiful
The Telepathic Butterflies
Food a pristine used Traveling Wilbury album. Not one pop or tick on it. It's also extremely dynamic. Good find.
Duane & Greg Allman - Duane & Greg Allman

Couple of songs on that 38 Special album I like, were all guilty of buying the album for one or two tunes. Now, this album I listen to in it's entirety. I'm just old scooter trash.

oicu812, Welcome, you're in good company... There are more than a few Allman Brother Band enthusiasts here

Devendra Banhart / Rejoicing in the hands

Only just saw your post on Codeine Velvet Club.

Basically it was a side band for Jon Fratelli with Lou Hickey on vocals.

So similar to the Fratellis but with female vocals.

I think you would like, pity they only managed the one album though.
Good Dog, Happy Man - Bill Frisell (Viktor Krauss - bass, Jim Keltner - drums, Wayne Horvitz - organ/piano, Greg Leisz misc. fretted instruments, Ry Cooder on one track)
Stevie Ray Vaughn - In Step

3-4 tunes i like on this, was gonna go trower, next !!

just for nutty, the next one, i see he and a lot you old tunes and trower fans...*grinz
I feel like a ghost...lmfao
