@boxer12  - Congrats on finding the Empire. Hope it works well for you. I still may look for one in the future.

Neil Young  - Tonight's The Night

Original 1975 Reprise Records

Great SQ all around. I don't remember it having such deep bass. Fantastic.

Just put on Lee Ritenour’s 6 String Theory - for the first time! Never heard the album before. Lovely. The second song with Keb Mo’ and Taj Mahal is outstanding.

Anyone here have the Morcheeba album - "Big Calm"? I dig it! Anyway, if you have it, or do a search for an image of the album cover, what is that Bad A$$ turntable in that cool stereo console on the cover?

Great album. Love the smooooth vibe. Especially the first track - "The Sea".

i found this record hiding in the collection a while back, snuck in as a bonus to a 40+ year marriage. I wasn’t a fan of disco back in the day but have to admit that now it’s pretty refreshing, although Stayin’ Alive is the definition of an earworm. i hope I haven’t lost my Rock ‘n’ Roll cred around here. 😎

More Songs...Six months later played it again and the switch went 'click'. One of my favourite albums of all time

Great story! Same thing happened for me with Tom Waits and Lyle Lovett. Maybe it's progress.

The Motels – Careful. (first listen; LRS purchase based on chatter here)

Jenny Lewis. My daughter toured with her….

We need to know more, please.

Kudos to you. Verifiable proof of great parenting!

I’m never listening to you again.

@bslon @spiritofradio not so fast….after all the followup with Some Girls is priceless…pure genius

A desert island disc for me anyway… I have the banned cover, secret name for the boat is Beast of Burden…. Far Away eyes…..more…

’Beast of Burden’ excellent ambiguity in that choice.   I always thought Sans Souci would make a nice boat name - in fact for probably the exact opposite reasons.  Mine was ‘Friend’.

@big_greg Will you and yours be attending the Pink Martini Valentines concert?   Grays Anatomy and I have tickets.

Every time I think you're out, you pull me back in. Can't file it away

I don't have an original pressing to compare to but this release sounds pretty good. All around great SQ.

Hey gang!

My Rega Planar 10 sold in just 1 day of listing.  Maybe I priced it a bit too low?

The new rig just keeps sounding better and better.  Very impressive, to say the least.  Still playing a few of the new records recently acquired.  I'll go deeper later this week.

Danny Gatton - 88 Elmira St.  WOW!  This is really a fantastic album.

Dave Mason - Alone Together Again  Dave really hit it out of the park and this.  The music is great and the SQ is just wonderful.  I almost can't believe the layers of instruments and depth of their locations.  Bass is visceral.

David Crosby - If I Could Only Remember My Name  50th Anniversary Edition.  What an awesome album.  I can't believe that I never bought it, 50 years ago.
