A great record. Great songs and voice. Sweet recording.

Alright, leaving that damn young yipper snapper music for a while.....

Fantastic. I believe Peter feels the Voice may be the best cart he makes for the cost.

Very nice, I'm sure you will like it.

Puffball,

You may want to stream it first to make sure. I don't want to lead you astray 😀

Terry Evans - Putting it Down ( Audioquest ) Also got the PVF US clean.....yikes..... ;-)

James, enjoy that new phono cartridge.  I am very interested in Soundsmith and will likely be getting one fairly soon.  Bravo to you, enjoy it immensely.

And yes, the Stevie Ray Vaughan albums from AP/QRP at 45rpm are just awesome.  I should get another one of those.  Very good music here tonight.

I have to que up some good stuff tomorrow.  Have a Clippers game tomorrow night.

Joel, as you no doubt remember I have the AP SRV records all in a 33 box set that I absolutely treasure.  Never fail to amaze.

Listening on Quad ESLs to this Chesky Recording of Amber Rubarth is pretty much a surround sound experience.  Soundstage is far out beyond the cement walls of the basement and all the way around to the sides and in back of my chair.  Fantastic.

Yes Sir.  And I wanna know why more records can't get recorded this well.  Can you imagine if, just for example, the CSN couch album would have been made like this?

Always delivers

Jules and The Polar Bears / Got no breeding.

you just don't wanna know

CCR - Chronicle

@spiritofradio Congrats on the Soundsmith James!  I have an Aida II and was really surprised at how good it is.

+1 Amber Rubarth & SRV QRPs. I've enjoyed Texas Flood for a long time. Just got my backordered In Step 45 in the record cleaning queue along w/Blakey Moanin' Blue Note Classic series.

Some of us can't pay others to clean our records, Jim! 😜. Rube Goldberg ultrasonic all the way for me.

Everything But The Girl - Idlewild. (My pick for most underrated album of the 80s)

Thanks Steve. Thanks Greg. Something I’ve wanted to aspire to for awhile now under your influence.

The Danish String Quartet

Last Leaf

Marcin Wasilewski Trio

Live

If you’ve been interested to know about what shape Jazz chords have been taking this is representative.

i need more Rube Goldberg in my life….. Condo life however screams Degritter… i know, “ First world vinyl problems “….

Pure Pleasure Record.  They sometimes don’t sound all that great but this one is really really nice.  Bright, percussive, tight.  All in good ways.

Jayhawks - Tomorrow The Green Grass.     #janglyharmonious

Arcade Fire - Funeral

Psychedelic Furs - Midnight to Midnight

@spiritofradio everyone knows trombone music is best for cartridge break-in!

everyone knows trombone music is best for cartridge break-in!

Ha!   Ever notice how there are a dis-proportionate number of audiophiles who were/are trombone players.  @tomic601 included if I’m not mistaken.

cartridge is due here by fed ex tomorrow but with the holiday and annual post thanksgiving respite in Maui I probably won’t get it installed til mid December.   Timing not the best but I avoided a long wait by getting one that was available now.  Gives me something to look forward to.
