@ boxer12 @ sbank

My Watson Twins lp is "Talking to You, Talking to Me"

I believe it was mastered by Stan Ricker

Franz Schmidt

Symphony No. 4 In C Major

Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra

Zubin Mehta

1972 London

Another new arrival yesterday

Juilliard String Quartet : Aaron Copland - Quartet For Piano And Strings / Sextet For Clarinet, Piano And String Quartet / Vitebsk — Trio For Violin, Cello And Piano (Study On A Jewish Theme). Columbia Masterworks 1970

Milk Carton Kids "All the Things I Did,

All the Things I Didn’t Do"

....reminding me of a more modern S&G album, great

harmonies and SQ.

Isaac Stern and Alexander Zakin : Franck - Sonata In A Major & Debussy - Sonata In G-Minor. Columbia Masterworks 1960

Egberto Gismonti

     Nana Vasconcelos

          Duas Vozes

                1984 ECM

Brian,  +1 on Franck's Sonata.  I've been mellowing out a lot recently on Franck and Schmidt.

Iron Butterfly "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida"

my clean period repress which is too

Up front/aggressive for my tastes.

Hope the MFSL is great! Can’t say I’ve been convinced to order it yet.

For you Eva Cassidy fans,. Live @ Blues Alley

is being released on vinyl for 1st time at 45rpm.

Should be special. Pre-order mine today.

This will probably be an investment lp in

the future?

Steve - could very well be ! i much prefer Nightbird, wish that would get the 45 rpm treatment 2 !

Jim, I have "Songbird" on S&P label.

One of the short-lived S Hoffman

labels.

Benjamin Britten conducts Purcell - Chacony In G Minor For Strings / Elgar - Introduction And Allegro For Strings, Op. 47 (Quartet And Orchestra) / Britten - Simple Symphony For String Orchestra / Delius - Two Aquarelles / Bridge - "Sir Roger De Coverly" For String Orchestra. English Chamber Orchestra. London 1969

Trying to figure out this image option. Will try again later

Me 2 Steve ! i just looked and there is a 7 LP Nightbird 180 g box set at 45 rpm..... argh.....

Brian the image option is dark ages imo. First you must put image at webhosted site like imgur or flickr, then pray it need not be resized, then use image url....

ugh...

Yea, I'm no dummy when it comes to this, but as I do not have imgur or flickr, or similar, figured I could use them as links from DropBox. But not sure that will work. Unfortunately.

Kathleen Edwards "Failer"

Her debut on vinyl 1st time!

......"no one likes a girl who

won't sober up"......

Hans-Dieter Bauer & Siegfried Schubert-Weber, piano : Grieg- Symphonische Tänze Über Norwegische Motive Op. 64 / Walzer-Capricen Op. 37 / Symphonische Stücke Op. 14. RBM Records 1983 German release

@slaw Steve, you mentioned Nikki Sudden recently,  Nikki (Adrian Godfrey) and his brother Epic Soundtracks (Kevin Godfrey) co-founded Swell Maps who I mentioned in a post a few days ago.

Numero Group has collected a number of Sudden's recordings in a 7-LP box set "Dark Rags at Dawn".  I just learned of this after recently getting the Swell Maps compilation "Mayday Signals".  Since the Numero box set is a 500 unit pressing, I may just get that.

Hey @puffball

I thought Swell Maps was familiar. Thanks

for the info. For the price, that box is another

no-brainer.

@tomic601

Brian...sorry, i am the technology village idiot....

Ha Jim, we know that isn't true

Brian ...more than you know....unfortunately for many years we had exec computing support, so my mindset became one of an appliance or utility...keeping the server and NAS farm up and running two places is more than i want to know.....

Steve it shows at elusive disc as waiting for repress....probably available at a premium on discogs. There is a UK version of Live at Blues Alley, 33.33 at $ because of across the pond shipping...

i checked my copy of Songbird, mine is the garden variety Blix Street reissue...oh well, there goes the hedge fund...$

@slaw I like the now functional user @lookup but not a fan of the non-mobile responsive view at all. There's no text wrapping so the page view width is all over the place.

I'm finding the same no text wrapping issue in iOS as well. Drives me crazy. A few reloads, or close and reopen solves it.....sometimes.
