@tomic601

Good to see you are alive man 👍🏼 Had a feeling you were busy with the boat and those fish.
Cool Steve, BTW I'm a big fan of the Beta Band

Thanks bkeske

For Tomic:
Virgin Passages / Distance
41 knots = 47.2 mph, she hauls A$$

Tim and Steve - congrats on new gear !!!! Always fun.

glad to hear y’all having fun
Man, this Ahmad Jamal live album is kicking major butt. I think this is the first time I’ve spun it since I’ve had the Hagerman. Incredible. Has never, ever, sounded this good.

This album is highly recommended. Great recording for a live performance, especially piano. The very first song is a little weak on Ahmad’s piano, but after that, much better.
Oneida / Romance
Been really diggin' this band as well as the "Grails" lately.
41 knots = ??
Fast! A freakin' hydrofoil?
Sounds like the life, Jim. Keep safe.
Pink Floyd - Dark side of the moon.
Just ‘cuz I’ve not given it a spin in probably at least a decade.  Memories

Julie London- About the blues.
Rodney Crowell "Texas"

Man, there’s something wrong"....

Lucinda Williams "Passionate Kisses"
Rough Trade

Holding it up to the light reveals a translucent vinyl like the JVC
.
Pure blues from Lu!
I over-bought.....

I have a sealed copy of Alejandro Escovedo  "Thirteen Years" on vinyl.

Any of you frequent posters who love him... I'd send it to you at no cost.

Steve
Damn @slaw, my copy of Lucinda's s/t Rough Trade LP shows light through it as well! I had never noticed that before.

I have her Good Souls Better Angels album in the limited edition translucent/frosty white vinyl pressing. The hype sticker reads "Natural uncolored virgin vinyl. The cleanest formulation." I wonder if the vinyl is the Clarity that MoFi is using for their 1-Step LP's, and Analogue Productions for their UHQR?

In the YouTube video of the Kind Of Blue roundtable discussion, the point is made that the black color of normal LP's contains trace elements of iron, and that is why demagnetizing an LP is a real thing.
Shoji Yokouchi Trio - Greensleeves - Impex 33rpm - SQ is EX+ and the drum recording is AMAZING

Deftones - Around the Fur - VVG
DiMeola, McLaughlin, DeLucia - Friday Night in San Francisco - Impex 33rpm - better than my OP of this record
Wow;!

The Neil Young box,. Blue Note, sounded So good, that I listened to it completely.
Ben Webster meets Oscar Peterson - Verve 45rpm AP reissue. This series is some of my favorite vinyl I have. They are all just awesome
@6t5-gto  I just got my first of the Verve 45Rrpm AP reissues, Getz/Gilberto.  As noted above, it's fantastic!  The music is wonderful and the production quality is superb.  I do want to get a few more of these issues.  However, I am not familiar enough with most of the artists.  Ben Webster meets Oscar Peterson looks rather interesting.  I'll take a few recommendations, please.  Thanks guys.
OK, finally done doing….and paying…my taxes. Whew. And ouch.
Good thing I also got a nice batch of LP’s in the mail today. I need some music.

First up, another Leo purchase (getting around to filling my collection)

Leo Kottke - Burnt Lips. Chrysalis 1978
