John Scofield & Pat Metheny-"I Can See Your House From Here"

Blue Note Tone Poet Series, 2LP, 180 Gram

Just got in SDH Semiotics Department of Heteronyms self titled 2018 vinyl, and La Dispute 2008 Somewhere at the Bottom of the River Between Vega and Altair.

mofimadness  I absolutely LOVE the titles you've recently posted.    You mentioned earlier that you really like the Tone Poet series.......Obviously, I do as well.  I have about 75 of them.  And as a matter of fact, just yesterday, I received Scolohofo myself.  I haven't played it yet but I do have "high" expectations.      I also could not agree with you more about Tal Wilkenfeld being the best female bass player ever....maybe one of the best ever, regardless of gender.  My first exposure to her was watching the 25th anniversary concert for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame concert from 2009.  Then, in 2016, I saw The Who in Boston and her own band was the warm up act.  She was great but unfortunately the music was fairly forgettable.  Of course, it doesn't hurt that she's also sexy as hell!

Elton John-"Don’t Shoot Me, I’m Only The Piano Player"

@mofimadness ,

I have the original EJ "GYBR" on MFSL. Never thought I needed to ’upgrade’ to the 45RPM. What are your thoughts, assuming you own both pressings?

Also have a SACD that sounds amazing.

@slaw...MOFI never did that title on a 45RPM, that I'm aware of?  I do have it on Direct-Disk Labs, Simply Vinyl and Speakers Corner with, IMHO, the Speakers Corner being the best of the bunch.

Heart "Little Queen"
