would be a good lp to hear at a hi-fi show, would be a top candidate for Chad’s magic.

Supertramp "Brother Where You Bound"

Steve, You know I love that album! Fantastic album and really good sound. Yep, would love to hear it given the full audiophile treatment...

Yeah Tom. I played this very copy many a time throughout the years. Always a great listen.

@puptent...Yes, Michael Nesmith did Great solo work...very ingenious stuff. My new REGA P8 w/ Apheta 3 cart is unbelievably musical....last night a three hour listening session was one of the best I've ever had. Rich @ Signature Sound in Liverpool, NY.  THANKS.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band - "The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts"

It's not 'tonight', but Jean-Luc Ponty 'Aurora' right now.  Sounds great!  You can always rely on Ponty for excellent production value.

Boston-ST(Trauggot vs Zentz) Side 1+2

Knocked out 5 unplayed albums! Ramsey Lewis was clearly the best of the unplayed! Allen vs. Wally was close. Zentz had the claimed excessive treble energy but more dynamic/open with better note decay. Traugott was better balanced with deeper bass and tonality but lacking engagment on some tracks when compared to Zentz. Overall I slightly favor the Wally mastering for its tonality but neither are close to Audiophile SQ status. Both copies were VG/VG+ so far from perfect. Maybe the CBS Half/Speed is the definitive version.

@slaw

can't say, I haven't heard Golden Hour.  I liked Deeper Well.  Some songs seemed to be redundant but, hey, got to fill a record.  There is a track on side 2 that they effed up recording and still made it on the record but other than that really enjoyed it.

Paul McCartney / S-T

Debut album…Apart from occasional contributions by his wife, Linda, McCartney performed the entire album alone by overdubbing on four-track tape. (Wiki)

Dusted off 3 more unplayed albums! Brahms was great as expected but that WH 1045 just missed the SQ crown. The Jamboree gets tossed. Concord takes another SQ crown with 5* content. Played Rosenberger since I mentioned her in another thread. Foghat-Live just missed my Top Ten live Pop/Rock 70's list. Falls somewhere between 11-15.
