What are you streaming tonight?

As we are in the modern age of music I thought I would see how this fares.
We have threads specific for cdp and tt so why not streaming as it is a modern media.
I don't care if you stream Tidal, Deezer, Spotify, Paradise Radio or any number of internet stations.
I would like you to share your tastes and method of streaming.

Young and Dangerous .. The Struts

Tidal

I vaguely remember somebody stating these were a fantastic energy filled live act. I can believe it as there are a number of great toe tapping tunes here but....
The SQ leaves a LOT to be desired, another victim of the loudness wars I am afraid.
Emotion and Commotion .. Jeff Beck

Just love this album, so truly musical imho.

Tidal
Redemption ... Joe Bonammassa.

Tidal

Breaking in some new to me Joseph Audio RM33LE speakers.
Nomzamo ... IQ.

Still one of my favorite prog rock albums despite its age.

They are pretty darn good I admit Reubent!

I found them playing again couple days ago, used as a test for my new speakers.

Talking of speaker test.
In Absentia track #8 titled .3 Will truly show what your woofers are made of!
Amused To Death ... Roger Waters.

Only put this on due to the thread on it.
And nope it still does not move me like Hitchhiking or KAOS does.

Nick Cave - live from KCRW.
Tidal Hi-Fi. Satellite internet.in the Atlantic ocean.
Tidal gets everywhere!

Pretty sure Tidal in the Atlantic Ocean is a recipe for a really corny joke but I am out of any good ideas for one!
Talking Dreams .. Echosmith.

A bit poppy similar to Paramore but Sydney Sierota is a better singer imho.

Hey @uberwaltz - Are you familiar with Robben Ford and the Blue Line? The S/T album is da bomb! Check it out if you don’t know it.
Hahahahaha.

Check out my post just previous to yours Reubent.

Great minds think alike!

Made my night!

😇😇😇

@uberwaltz and @reubent, I got to see Robben live many times when he was living in San Jose in the early 70’s. He and his brothers (Pat on drums, Mark on mouth harp) had moved down from upstate California, and were living in a house right by the corner of Stevens Creek Blvd. and Saratoga/Sunnyvale Road., about a mile from the house I grew up in. The guy who played bass in the band I was in my senior year of high school (Lou Bottini) was in the Ford band for a while, as was the singer/harp player I was in a band with a year after graduating (Gary Smith; his Up The Line album is great Chicago Blues).

When Robben started playing around San Jose, all the local guitar players got their first up-close look at world-class talent, and realized they didn’t have it, a sobering realization. Robben eventually left for L.A., and was soon working with George Harrison, Joni Mitchell, and Miles Davis!

Way cool BDP24!
Love those type of stories and it puts a differing perspective on things.
@bdp24 - Great story. Not too many world renowned musicians from Cincinnati, except Adrian Belew. On the other hand, we do have more than our share of Audio Reviewers who write for the big Audiophile rags.

BTW, have you listened to Robben Ford and the Blue Line? Wow, what a record. Great songs, great musicianship and a really good sounding CD. I'll need to look for it on vinyl.
There is a second album as well I think, A Handful of Blues.

Not heard it but it is on Tidal so will virtually spin it up tonight.
Traffic: Far From Home. Only a couple of songs in but so far I like it. Production quality (Winwood) seems top notch.
Great album N80, as you say production is first rate, a joy to listen to.

And welcome!
@uberwaltz.

This is a great thread @uberwaltz .

I just totally started over with a new system a few months ago (after 12 years) and my main source is now an Aurender. I’ve been having an incredibly fun time finding/discovering new music and catching up on old music as well.

In Tidal, I’ve been browsing through the 12.5k+ Masters files there. Just trying whatever catches my eye. I’ve found some pretty incredible recordings and like not having to put a new CD in the player or even really think too much about what CD will be next. My music collection is huggee now!

I’ll try to get my iPad out and contribute some titles or songs here.

I do like that Alarm collection you listed. Just saw them in late August and it was a very good show indeed, I think even better than the year before at the same venue.
Pokey77.

Thank you for the kind words!

As far as The Alarm, we have @reubent  to thank for that as he reminded me about them in another music thread.

Please feel free to contribute whatever and whenever, all will be welcome and im sure we will all get some great ideas for future listening.
