Andrew,
Your answers in other threads are condescending as well.
This forum is for members to contribute posts of value and merit
both of which your's sorely lack.
Wow! Keith you got to get them straight. How do they sound? Characteristics from owners or others.
Thanks for your appraisal Iso.
I'll give it all the consideration it deserves, i.e none.
Count on me being around...............
Seriously, how do they sound different from other Tara labs or other cables in General. I don't hear a lot on the thread about the actual sound. I want opinions on the sound.

Hey they are making some really nice double wides nowadays. Low cost low maintenance leaves more money for audio.
Andrew,
Keep this up and you will have to change your user name yet again.
Try changing your style next time.
ISO, seeing as though you choose to chase me around, I'll play along. Audiogon is moderated, which is fine, so your unsolicited comments directed at me are unnecessary. Let them do the heavy lifting. However, if your goal is judge, jury, and executioner look elsewhere. Perhaps in mom's basement where you can moderate to your hearts' content.
Oh boy Andrew do you ever stop harassing others.
If everyone agrees this guy is a bad actor....
Nothing positive in all of hos comments just a joke.
He has no credibility or feedback just a loser.
Oh look, it's the fat guy checking in from Canada.
Going to sell in this thread like you do in all the others?
And you lecturing anybody on credibility?
Pot......meet kettle. A chubby kettle.
Well as much as I have looked at this thread I never get any comments on how they sound. It has become shiny jewelry. Yes I have very expensive cables. I just wanted more feedback on soundstage, treble, midrange, texture, weight, air etc. It seems like as a person who would try them that I don't get any information outside of specs. I would like any actual taralabs users to chime in and tell me what you think. I've heard them in a really good system and they seemed great but I really wouldn't know without other owners chiming in. I don't care about how they are made. I care about the sound. I guess somebody got sent on vacation. However any comments on actual sound.

Has anyone tried the Air forte? I cant find much info in these. How do they compare to other cables in the 800 to 1000 dollar range? Oh and i do own the prime m2 and an air 2 cable so i do like the taras!!
I have owned a couple. But I haven't owned the upper high end. The best I had was the one. I just wondered how their best of the best sounded or some of their entry level cables. As usual not much talk on sound just specs and funny little signs. Well I guess this is what this thread has turned into.lol
I see, yea it seems there flagship cables are the main focus here, but they are way way out of my league lol. The taras that i do own being the prime m2 and the air 2's are great, i love em. Its not really that easy describing there sound but everytime i plug in taras the sound changes. They are smooth. The soundstage is so full and expansive. blacks get blacker, the sound is like 3d, it just comes out of space. Im surrounded by sound! I can hear detail and ambiance that i havent heard from other cables that are in a similar price range. Yes the Air 2's are a way better example of this obviously but the prime m2 is no sloutch. They are never fatiguing, but very neutral. Taras are a good match for me, i listen to alot of rock and metal. but now im looking to move up to the air forte if some one can chime in on them. I hope they are even better but in there price range there is alot of competition. Cables can make a difference and it doesnt have to cost an arm and a leg lol. On a technical aspect the rsc is what makes taras stand out from the others in my opionion. They are also very well sheilded cables and work well with turntables. I hope that helps!

He's too busy listening to his new Briggs & Stratton speakers.
150W, 8 ohms, 6 horsepower
@barruch86 thanks for the input. I had the one and the 2 interconnect before but never had anything else. I was just wondering. I see a million posts on this thread not a lot of description of how they actually sound. Thanks.

Anytime calvinj! Yea i too would like people to share what taras or any other brands of cables have done to the sound for the positive, negative, or anything at all to their systems. Thats what makes this hobby so much fun!
I've had good experiences with high fidelity, clarity cable and atlas mavros. The taralabs "The One" was pretty good as well. The made the instruments jump out a little. I like it though.
Ummm a pro-ject 2 xperience turntable w/ortofon black, audio research sp8 mkii rev7 preamp, audio reasearch vs110, conrad johnson sonograph sa250 when i dont feel like using the tube amp lol, nakamichi bx300 cassette player, magnapan 1.7 speakers w/mye stands, b&w asw610 sub dont use it very often, audioquest rocket 88 speaker cables, tara labs prime m2 hooked to tt, air 2 to the amp only cause the air 2 cable is very short lol, shunyata alpha hc power cord to shunyata ps8 distributor w/ venom defender. Theres more lol grado rs1 headphones, bellari ha540 headphone amp. I do have the shunyata srz1 outlet but havent hooked it up yet. Thats basically what im using at the moment!

@barruch86. Thanks. I'm running gato fm6 speakers, kr audio va 900 integrated amplifier. Resonessence mirus dac. Ear acute CD player. High fidelity URR power cord. Clarity organic power cord. High fidelity ultimate interconnects, atlas mavros speaker cables. Thanks for your response. Glad you answered my question directly. As far as sound I'm happy. I'm tube rolling my ear acute CD player to tune it right in to what I like. @audiolabyrinth. The acute CD player is really good. As far as what I've heard I only liked the soulutions 540 and the accuphase a little better. Dave Baskin let me hear those 2 players in the past. See you are not the only one good at copy and paste. Lol. Keith do what makes you happy and if Tara labs does it. Then do it. The hell with everybody else. Lol.
Good post john-jmcgrogan2, you always said there are many different flavors to audio, everyone doesn't like the same.
This thread is up to 366,642 views!, by the way, I do not respond to crap!, appreciate you Isochronism, you know me, many others over the years know my post are true!, calvinj, I wanted to see how bad some of these people can hang them selfs to look bad! ,, that is what I've been doing, works everytime, you think, lol.
The Grandmaster Evolution Digital

This is new to the market place.

The TARA Labs Grandmaster Evolution Digital Interconnect uses a pair of RSC® Gen 3 Rectangular Solid Core® conductors.

In the AES/EBU format, the conductors are critically spaced to ensure an exacting 110 Ohm characteristic impedance; this  is the AES/EBU format used with XLR connectors. The RSC Gen 3 conductors are smaller than the Gen 2 version, and this provides a more extended bandwidth for the digital signal.

The TARA Labs Grandmaster Evolution Interconnect uses a system of woven filaments constructed from small Teflon tubes, to expand and displace the shield further away from the signal carrying conductors. In this way, the Grandmaster Evolution Digital Interconnect is able to reduce digital distortion, called ‘jitter’.*(Jitter explains why Digital cables sound different from on to another)

The Grandmaster Evolution Digital cable is simply the most astonishing digital cable in the world today. No cable comes close except the Zero Evolution Digital interconnect.

Optimized RCA-75 ohm & XLR-110 ohm AES/EBU configurationAnti-corrosion coated SA-OF8N copper shieldSupplied with TARA Labs exclusive HFX Floating Ground Station featuring ISM technologyRSC Gen 3 SA-OF8N copper in-line hand polished conductorsOptimized geometryGen 3 conductor eliminates coloration and distortion & jitterExceptionally revealing of low-level ambient and spatial informationPhenomenal die-electric construction and rectangular sold core conductors create an unbelievable, vanishingly low noise floor.

Ahh, more cut and paste.
The OP's fall back position when all else fails.
Calvinj, your audio system is awesome!, so awesome ive never heard of any of that stuff lol i still got alot to learn.
@jmac good post. You are ears above everybody else. Way to go. Lol way to have audiolabryinth compliment your point of view and agree with you fully. You are so audio smart. Lol.
Barruch86. I got my stuff on a suggestion from gary at audio emotion in Scotland. My gear is niche. YouTube the videos on the brands. They are pretty good. The key is the combination as a system sounds good. I'm a little different.
Calvinj, what did you prefer with the accuphase digital player over what you have listened too?
This is new to the market place.

The RAT Labs Grandmasterbait Evolution Digital Interconnect uses a pair of RSC® Gen 3 Trapezoidal Hollow Core® conductors.

In the ASE/UBE format, the conductors are irregularly spaced to ensure a completely poor tolerances 99.675 Ohm characteristic impedance; this is the ASE/UBE format used with RXL connectors. The RSC Gen 3 conductors are a tiny bit smaller than the Gen 2 version, and this provides no more extended bandwidth for the digital signal.

The RAT Labs Grandmasterbait Evolution Interconnect uses a system of knitted, by our grandmother, filaments constructed from small Plutonium tubes, to reduce and reject the shield further away from the signal carrying conductors. In this way, the Grandmasterbait Evolution Digital Interconnect is able to reduce increase distortion, called ‘jitterbug*(Jitterbug explains why Digital cables sound exactly the same as every other on the market)

The Grandmasterbait Evolution Digital cable is simply the most overpriced digital cable in the world today. It is only matched by our similiarly overpriced product the Zero Evolution Digital interconnect.

Optimized ARC-57ohm & RLX 97.654 ohm SAE/UBE configuration higher corrosive coated SA-OF8N copper shieldSupplied with RAT Labs exclusive HFX Floating Ground Station featuring ISM technologyRSC Gen 3 SA-OF8N copper in-line machine polished conductorsOptimized geometryGen 3 conductor adding coloration and distortion & jitterbugging exceptionally u revealing of low-level ambient and spatial information. Very ordinary die-electric construction and rectangular holliw core conductors create an unbelievable, intolerably high noise floor.
I like the EAR acute. The parasound cd1 was good. However the solutions 540 is mind blowingly organic and musical. Best player ever heard in my life.
@andrew9405. That's funny I haven't seen made up words and things that good since the wayans brother in living color prison skit.

Yes the post gave me a flashback to Damon wayans. Lol. I think Tara labs makes a great product too bad I don't hear more insight on the different levels of cables. I would like to know how the .08 ex sounds. If I'm saying that right. Lol.
Calvinj, you should check out a loom of the TARA 0.3 cable's,you would enjoy them.
