Isn't that the same factory that supplied the industry with the raw material used to make records? I may be technically incorrect on the nomenclature, but I think I am on track with the shortage of materials necessary to make vinyl LPs?
As cleeds said, there is no shortage of vinyl. Lacquers are the first step in producing the parts that are used to press the vinyl records. They are not made of vinyl.
I haven't heard any news on the lacquer situation, either. There doesn't seem to be any slowdown in the release of vinyl.
