Raw Vinyl Shortage - Where do we stand?

Remember the vinyl factory that burned and we were told to expect a decline of LP stocks and increased prices.  Well, then the Pandemic hit and it had its own impact on the pace & scale of LP production.  But I can’t find any news about what is the current status of vinyl supplies.

Anybody know the status of where the vinyl industry stands?  I still find plenty of high quality pressings to go broke on.

No, I don’t recall any such fire.
There was a fire at Apollo Masters. They made lacquer discs.

Isn't that the same factory that supplied the industry with the raw material used to make records?  I may be technically incorrect on the nomenclature, but I think I am on track with the shortage of materials necessary to make vinyl LPs?

The only shortage I can see is people with the skills to turn the vinyl into high quality pressings.
Seems plenty of new releases coming out all the time. Their quality? Hit and miss really. But no real lack of new titles.

As cleeds said,  there is no shortage of vinyl.  Lacquers are the first step in producing the parts that are used to press the vinyl records.  They are not made of vinyl.

I haven't heard any news on the lacquer situation, either.  There doesn't seem to be any slowdown in the release of vinyl.
